Fell in france and ankle is just short of broken and was prescribed enantyum 25mg tablets. Managed to work out that they're ibuprofen. I'm from the uk and am used to 200mg as a standard tablet. ## No, they are NOT Ibuprofen, these tablets contain 25mgs of Dexketoprofen, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, but much stronger than Ibuprofen, hence such a low dosage. If so, my research tells me that the main ingredient in Melfen is Ibuprofen- a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication used to treat fever and pain, including pain caused by headache, toothache, arthritis, cold or flu, migraine, or menstrual cramps. To my knowledge, weight gain is not a side effect of Ibuprofen. Everyone does react to medication differently however. Have you made any changes to your diet that could be the culprit?
