I have a white oblong pill that only has a big letter "I" with a big number "8" on it. ## A white oblong pill with "8 I" on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen. If so, it is likely that your pharmacy was a little short of tablets from one manufacturer to fill your entire prescription, so they had to use one, or more from another manufacturer. Suggested dose is 600 every 6-8 hours. The Advil (200mg each) are a quick release type and should not be mixed with generic longer release 600s or 800s. If you are in a lot of pain you can safely alternate Tylenol (acetaminophen) every 4 hours with ibuprofen...

trying to identify a pill found at my house left by my daughter's boyfriend. white oblong pill with a 599 code and G6 stamped on it ## I was not able to find an exact match based on your description. The closest thing I could find was a grey oblong pill with 599 preceded by a fancy looking R in front if the number. Click on the link below to see a picture of the pill... If the picture matches the pill which you found, then it is Etodolac 400mg. If it is not a match, then the pill is either from outside the USA, an over the counter drug, or an illegal drug.
