Is there an over the counter eye drop that starts with T? ## Based on my research, I only came across two brands that started with a T. I can't say however, if these are the only one's on the market that begin with this letter: -"Tears" Naturale Free Lubricant Eye Drops, 60 Single-Use Vials -"TheraTears" Lubricant Eye Drops, Single-Use Containers TheraTears appears to be a common brand here in the U.S.; so I think it's a good match. I have been trying to find Prefrin as well. I used to use it in the 80's & early 90' then it just went away from the stores. I do know that it was made in South Ft. Worth by Alcon Labs. eye drops ## Is it possible for rastasis eye drops to cause the blood to thin so that clotting is difficult. My husband has been using these drops for about a week and a cut on his hand was still bleeding profusely the next morning. This is very uncommon for him and rastasis is the only new medication he is using. ## Restasis is listed as containing Cyclosporine, it is used in drop form to treat chronic dry eye. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including irritation, redness, burning, and eye irritation, and yes, it has also been reported to cause bleeding and clotting disorders in some patients. How is he doing, now? Has there been any change?

replacement for Visine LR ## PLEASE IF THERE IS A REPLACEMENT FOR VLR, LET US KNOW ALL THE DETAILS OF THE EYE DROPS ASAP!!!! ## From what I can discover, it seems it has been discontinued, however, on their website, they list the active ingredient as being Oxymetazoline. Ironically, it is not used in any of their other products. I am not finding a lot of over the counter products that contain it, however, Claritin Eye Allergy Relief Drops have it and so does Ocuclear. How close together can theses drops be used the day before catarac surgery ## Because every surgeon has their own unique set of rules to follow before and after the operation it would be best to schedule an appointment with the surgeon to ask him directly. When you schedule a consultation prior to the surgery, remind them to discuss medications that you may or may not take, any prescriptions and how to use them, and how to prepare for the day of your surgery. Additionally, the surgeon usually gives the patient a list of pre and post operative care instructions to follow before going in. These instructions include what you should and should not be taking prior to and after the surgery. If you did not receive this I would ask them well before going in. I hope this helps!

Dexamethasone (Ophthalmic) is the closest match I'm finding. This happens to be an ophthalmic corticosteroid, prescribed for swelling, itching, redness and irritation of the eyes. Do you have any other questions? ## Claritin ophthalmic solution contains as the active ingredient ketotifen ## I noticed that there are other allergy products on the market which contain the same key ingredient as Visine LR called Oxymetazoline. I'll be having cataract surgery soon. Is there a natural eye drop that would act the same as the ridiculously overpriced prescription one? It's an antibiotic. Mistakely put eardrop into my mothers eyes. Wanting to know what is some of the problems she may have . ## Hello, Yoyo! How is she? Did she suffer any adverse effects? Likely nothing will happen, other than some irritation, but since they aren't sterile, there is a risk of them causing an infection. Signs of that in the eye, as listed by the NIH, may include redness, swelling, discharge and excess tearing. She should report it to her doctor, so they can check for any possible issues. Hello. I’m Rick. I was wondering about an issue with my left eye drooping when I get up in the morning. Someone mentioned it could be an eye allergy so I bought Visine allergy drops and it helps for like 3 hours then it starts to droop again, then I put the drops in and it’s fixed again. No, it is not true. However, her disease should be being treated by her doctor, which may help lessen the bulging.
