Lipicure 10 Side Effects

My wife, 59 years old, is suffering from High Blood Pressure & Diebities. Her investigation report is as under: Total Serum Cholestrol ........ 248mg Serum TRI Glycerides .......... 175mg HDL ........ 45mg VLDL ......... 35mg LDL ........ 168mg Serum Urea (DAM) .......... 38mg Blood Sugar - Fasting ..... 110mg - P.P ...... 220mg Blood pressure .....154/90 To control blood pressure, the doctor has prescribed: Repalol, Pinom 20mg & calchek 5mg To control the blood sugar , prescribed medicines are- Zoryl M2 (b.d.),Pioz 15mg (O.D.) To control cholestrol- One doctor has advised Lipicure 10mg while the other has prescribed Rosumac 20mg daily. The side effects of these two medicines has put me into anxiety. Pl. advice me what would be appropriate medicine to control cholestrol.

Im 59 yrs old I was a diabetic was prescribed gylree m 1 mong and aftr dinner and supermet xl 25 1 in mong aftr bfst but aftr 2 months of sensible eating and daily walk of 30 minutes my sugar level is normal and cholesterol right do I need to continue these tab as im doing al right things plz advice as tab do have side effects which I want to avoid lipcure 10 was also given my bones hurt knees pain which it was not thr bfr ## It would be best not to stop the medications, unless your doctor approves. If they are helping to control your blood sugar level, then it could start to rise again, if you stop taking them, even if you are eating well and exercising. What side effects are you worried about? some times iam suffering for breathing problem,to day i went hospital......the doctor suggested me use "LIPICURE-10" for one month.....is there any side effect from this medicine....? and also iam dabitic since 2003.My cholestral level -187,HDL-39,LDL-123,Triglycerides-161.VLDL-32 And my Glycosylated Hemoglobin (HbA1C) is 6.7%.So pl. give advise can i use the "LIPI CURE-10". ## What did the doctor say was causing the breathing problem? Hi.....Doctor, My doctor advised to take daily a tablet Nefrosave, since I am a patient of DM type 2 & HTN for the last 9 years ...my blood uric acid,creatinine,urea nitragen, lipid profile all normal in range but HTN sometimes 160/85 go & my HbA1C is 8.5. Taking medicines for DM like Galvus Met 50/1000mg = 2 times, Amaryl 3mg = 2 times, 1time Acrose(Glucobay 50mg) just started, for HTN drugs like Co-Diovan 160mg/12.5 1 time, Amlor (amldopine)10mg 1 time, Concur 5mg 1 time, Lipicure 10mg 1 time. Please advise me. Do atorvastatin calcium tablets cause breathlessness and heavy breathing if the tablet is taken after a meal, particularly when one is walking after having eaten and taken the tablet? If so, what does it mean? ## From my records I did not find anything stating that atorvastatin causes breathlessness or heavy breathing. My Cholesterol was 251 / LDL190 / Triglycerides 116/ HDL 37 & VLDL 23. 10 days after that I reduced my weight by 3 KG and my Dr. advised me to take Lipicure 10mg. For how long do I have to continue this medicine? As of August 2016 my Cholesterol level was 179. ## You should take it as long as your doctor deems it appropriate for you to do so. Is to safe to take Ecospirin 10 mg for a long time. I am a heart patient having pumping rate is low. ## What has your doctor advised? Ecosprin contains Aspirin and it is often given to cardiac patients, because of its blood thinning properties, since thinning the blood can help improve cardiac function. I had open heart surgery in 2006 and taking Carca 6.25 morning & Night, Clavix As75 afternoon and Lipicure-20 mg, Cardace 10 mg in the night. Now I am given TAZLOC -40. Telmisartan tablets IP 40 mg instead of Cardace-10 mg to avoid cough at times. ## Hello, Thiyagarajan! How are you doing? I am a heart patient with low iron and have been advised to take Ferritin inj... Is it safe? ## Your iron being low is far more dangerous than undergoing to treatments to rectify the problem, according to the NIH. However, you should be made aware that some side effects may persist for the rest of your life, such as headaches and joint pain. What other medications do you take? Some of them may be contributing to the problem. ## I am presently on Cardace 2.5 mg + Cardivas 6.25 + HCQS 200 + Dytor 10 + Lipicure 20 + Ecosprin 75 along with meds for Diabetes. I also take a supplement called One a Day and Folic Acid.
