Was suffering from cold symptoms like, sore throat,runny nose and coughing and went to a pharmacy and they gave me Sinu-Flu tablets which has paracetamol 400mg phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg and mepyramine maleate 5 mg per tablet but since then my symptoms got worse now I'm experiencing chest pains when I cough, so what's the exact dosage because they told me I should on take one tablet 3 times a day and it doesn't seem to be working ## Yes me to got sinu-flu at chemist and now i'm even worse my throat is so sore i can hardly swallow. I was taking Bupropion 150 mg SR twice per day ( so i was taking a total of 300 mg per day). Then my Dr switched me to the bupropion HCL 150 mg XL once per day and said it was the same as taking 300 mg per day. It doesn't seem right to me. Any thoughts on why this makes sense? ## Your doctor may be referring to the notion that 150mgs of extended release Bupropion is similar to taking it twice per day; since it remains in your system for a much longer period of time. Is it possible to have a severe reaction after a single dose? I had taken my first dosage with my evening meal. I went out that evening and had some wine and I became very aggressive. ## Of course it is, it's possible with any medication, just like someone can have an allergic reaction or experience side effects with just one dose. The alcohol likely contributed, because it can worsen the side effects of most medications. Do you drink frequently? If so, this may continue to be a problem, so you might have to discuss it with your doctor and try a different medication.
