I found these pills from 2000...are they safe to take? ## Hydrocodone does not get dangerous, after the expiration, but it does slowly lose effectiveness and after all these years, the chance of them actually doing anything is very low. In addition, if they contain Acetaminophen, that will also lose effectiveness and doubling up on them isn't a good idea, because taking too much of it, in a day, can be toxic. Are there any other questions?

this Is day 23 off of kpins after 6 years of 1 mg 3x daily. The first and this week have been agonizing. My sleep seems not existent and ringing in my ears is torture. I am addicted to opiates. Mostly Oxycodone, and Vicodin if I can't find my drug of choice. I am also prescribed Klonopin, 1mg 2X a day. A couple days ago, someone gave me 1 10mg Methadone because I was sick from not having my D.O.C. I was told not to take my Klonopin though because the mixture could be deadly. However I've just learned that mixing other opiates with Methadone can hurt you as well. So I took the methadone Saturday evening. Sunday I took Vicodin throughout the day, but did not take my Kpin. I started treatment on methadone 1 year ago and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have my life back. I am have been to clinics in CA, NC, and now south carolina. Reno Nevada was pretty lax with take homes but now after transferring to sc with the same company I thought by transfering to same clinic in a different state I would keep take homes.
