I found a pill in my son's room it's light beige in color, it's small and triangular in size, one side has an imprint of (GP) on it and the other side has a prefer rated line down it? What kind of pill is this??????!! ## Hello, Kenny! How are you? I believe this is manufactured by Geneza Pharmaceuticals, which means that determining what it contains may be rather difficult, almost all of their pills are triangular in shape and use the GP imprint, since they aren't based in the U.S. and don't fall under the jurisdiction of FDA. Have you tried asking your son about it? I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

Beige round pill (rather large) with WILSONS on one side & scored on other. Thanks. ## Was advised to provide more info, as no one posted reply. Obtained pills from India , supposed to be codeine 30 mg (no APAP), but they did go thru customs & gave me severe GI problems (i.e. stomachache akin to ulcer I had 30+ yrs ago). No detectable opiate effects. Please, anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated. I am a retired RN and also an addict with chronic pain issues (back & bilateral foot fx's).. I am in AZ, have done all (or most of) chronic pain meds inclusive of suboxone. Sututex is not available here on an outpatient basis, so I am amazed at some of the posts. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Apologies, misspelled subutex. ## Since they are from a...

My 17 year old son has about 100 beige round pills with ALP Imprinted with no scoring on them hidden in his sock drawer. He is a gym rat so im thinking anabolic steroid? Just looking for some info before i confront him. ## The only thing I can really find on this is a foreign pharmaceutical company that uses the ALP on all their Alprazolam products. This is the active ingredient in the Benzodiazepine Xanax. I cannot be certain of this ID, but it does meet the description of one of theirs, though a dosage is not listed. If that is what it contains, then it is just as dangerous as a steroid if used without a doctor's supervision. Where these found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## These round beige pills are anabolic steroids white ones are clomid used to come a steroid cycle. Tan dependin...

I have a beige oval pill and 5161 is the only marking on it. What could it be? ## I believe the marking you're looking at is actually S161. This tablet is manufactured by Strides Arcolab and they list it as containing 15mgs of Meloxicam. The FDA classifies Meloxicam as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for the information! I found a bottle of beige pills in my kids room. There is no ID on the pills. From the top view the pills are round and from the side the top and bottom have a convex shape ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what these contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are required, by law, to have unique imprints to enable their identification. However, they could be any one of a large number of over the counter items, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Have you tried asking your child about them?

I have one about 8 or 9 mms that is smooth, with no scoring and no imprints at all. Edge is about 1/8". The first letters on the pill container are: P-a-n-c then either r or h. Then looks to read e-a. I asked my DVM for Viokase. I need to look up the drug and study up on it. Does anyone know the rest of the details? ## Well, without an imprint, I cannot tell you definitively what they are, however, the generic for Viokase is Pancrelipase, which is a combination of 3 enzymes used to treat digestive disorders. You can learn more here: Is there anything else I can help with? ## Pancrelipase is it -- my veterinarian had only written a fragment of the drug name. Your answer is very much appreciated and I can now study the drug for other pets as that cat has recovered from her long but te...

I would really appreciate any help to identify these pills. They're beige/yellow'ish, and they're kind of old, but I'm super curious to know what they are. One side has CIBA, and the other O | R. ## I don't know the exact pill but am pretty sure they are older / discontinued. Most likely manufactured by Novartis with the "CIBA" branding on them. Can you confirm your location? I don't think the CIBA OR marking was for a domestic (US) drug. Wish I had more definite info to share at this point. Do you have any details available on the packaging, drug code, or manufacturer?
