Save yourself. If I could go back and withdraw off dope or methadone, I'd have stuck with them and not been a p**** and use sub's as a crutch. The "substance abuse" doctors give 0 s***s about you. Its all a business. $$$$ ## Unfortunately, after...

I switched last week Sunday(today is Saturday 6 days later) from a daily dose of 60mg methadone to a daily dose of 8mg suboxone. I went 4 days of detox hell and even though I thought I was going to absolutely die, I did it because I thought that switching to subo was a better option than the many downfalls of daily trips to the methadone clinic. I have taken subo before and it worked well, gave me that energetic upbeat feeling that methadone gave me. Made me feel good, but normal good. Well, since I started the suboxone again a couple days ago I feel NOTHING. I feel tired, achy, no energy, and no lil boost of pep like I did on the methadone and like I did the last time on subo. What gives? Im crabby, tired, cold, achy, have I made a horrible mistake and should have stayed on the methado...

I am currently on (2) Zubsolve tablets per day, and along with initial suboxone treatment, this has been a nightmare for me to try to get off of. My body reacts terribly with withdrawal symptoms much worse than any opiate pills I took. It's as if I am living in a really dark tunnel, and can barely get out of bed. In my mind, 3 years of being in an Opiate Treatment Program has only resulted in more money for the Doctor's and Insurance. I so badly now want off, because if I run out, my body becomes violently ill and I am unable to function. I almost always take more than my recommended and prescribed dose, hello....I am an addict, which always leads to the same insanity of going without or calling the clinic nurse and doctor who are less than happy with you for taking more. Man th...
