I've only been out of pills for a day, and I'm having withdrawals (was trying to tough it out a little longer, big mistake). Until my Rx comes through, any suggestions? I've taken some Xanax just to calm down a bit. *Have been on Hydro for awhile now due to issues with my feets if that matters. And also, I've been wondering if anyone has ever had any luck ordering hydrocodone or oxycodone online? I Found a blottle that read HYDROCODOE/APAP ELX PMA I was just curious as to how strong it was, it's yellow..If that matters any. ## I'm thinking the "ELX" probably stands for Elixir, which is liquid. Plainly stated, opinions vary on the top 5 list of popular Rx's. Xanax alone will after a time become habit forming and difficult to stop. Hydrocodone alone has similar properties. Possibly the most abused combo out there. Clonazepam is safe, and does not have the synergistic sedation of hydrocodone and Xanax. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I have acute anxiety/panic attacks. My pain mgmnt Dr used to prescribe Ativan along with hydrocodone up till 2016 as their new policy prohibited it. Family Dr then prescribed my Ativan till the opioid crisis hit with the DEA, etc telling Dr's basically how to treat their patients. After several referrals to Psych Dr's within the same hospital as pain mgmnt, they said they could not prescribe it, that it had to be pain mgmnt. Each said other Dr had to. Severe depression taking 4 mg of clonazepam with 60 mg of Cymbalta. Also, having had 5 spinal fusions (4 posterior, one anterior), taking 3 to 4 hydrocodone 500 7500 per day. I get very depressed and suicidal. Is this a bad combination? ## It sounds like it's a bad combination for you! Have you discussed it with your doctor? Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it's an SNRI antidepressant and the Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine and both of them can backfire, in some people, and have the opposite effect of what they are supposed to do. On top of that, you're adding the narcotic Hydrocodone, which can definitely have depressant effects.

my husband was adicted to percocets and went on suboxen, now he says he need xanax to relax. ## Xanax is a Benzodiazepine, highly addictive. I worry that he is just trading one addiction for another. ## Not only is it addictive... there have been a number of deaths reported in people mixing suboxone and benzo's. It's very dangerous. Ativan contains Lorazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and taking it with the Hydrocodone in the other tablets may cause increased depression of the central nervous system, which may result in lowered blood pressure, pulse rate and respiratory rate. Thus, you should check with your doctor, before mixing them.
