Is there a over the counter medicine for vistaril ## Hello, BJ! How are you? No, the closest you could get would most likely be Benadryl, which contains the active ingredient Diphenhydramine. It's an excellent antihistamine and usually the first choice used in most ERs to treat allergic reactions, but it doesn't have the same potent sedating effects that Vistaril does. Found capsules that are pink,white and red in the middle with imprint av 20 ## I haven't been able to find a listing for this, but if it is an over the counter generic or store brand of Benadryl, then that makes sense, because they aren't required to log their imprints with the FDA, so there is no central database to look them up. I am taking 20mg of methadone daily and have been for many years. As I am getting older I'm trying to be more cautious as to what I take (otc). But I need to take some Benadryl for an itchy rash. I take about 2-3 Benadryl a day for allergies. I can tell when it wears off because my eyes itch and I constantly sneeze. I am just wondering if there is a long term side affect by taking it everyday? I no longer get tired from it but it really helps with allergies , fast ! ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? I found a few small, oblong pills, imprinted with L431 and I am curious to find out what it is and its uses. small neon pink oval pill with a capital V on one side and the number 25 on the other side ## Is that the complete imprint? I can't find anything listed with these markings in our prescription drug resources. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? With that description and marking, I am guessing that this is probably something available over the counter, there are many store brands and generics of Benadryl that are in a bright pink color. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication.

have found one yellow capsule shaped tablet pill with an imprint of L030. I believe it is an over the counter medication, but have no idea what it is. Can anyone help me identify it. I have tried all the drug identifying tools online, but have had no luck. That is another reason why I believe it may be over the counter. I was cleaning my coffee pot with vinegar & water and it spilled out on my counter. My prednisone pills 10 milligrams were in a paper envelope. Most of them got wet and looks like they dissolved a little. But I took them out of the envelope to dry. Some of them fall apart when I pick them up. Is it still safe to take these. They were given to me for a cough from sinus and allergies. ## I have follow up test every six month for cancer n removal of right kidney. Because fifteen years ago I had reaction to iodine. Like what are the side affects? ## It's an antihistamine, it's for allergies.
