Oc 80, ABG 80 and EX 80 are all IR 80mg oxycontin tabs. Don't try and tell me otherwise. They are Ir so smarten up. ## IR means immediate release and Oxycontin is a time released medication. Currently, in the US, the immediate release formulation is only available in 5mg capsules, the regular release is available under the name brand Roxicodone and its generics as just Oxycodone and the time released is only available as the name brand Oxycontin. Canada lists all the ones you've mentioned as being time released formulations. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. So a friend of mine was trying to tell me that they make a 60,80 and 100mg IR oxycodone. Not ER oxycontin but IR, I told him he was crazy the highest mg they make for IR is the 30mg Roxicodone. He said they do make them in pill form but choose not to tell us about them because of the already crack down on opioids. I was just wondering if anyone out there has either seen heard of or ever had one of these pills.My guess is they dont make them. ## You are correct, the immediate release formulation of Oxycodone is only available in dosages up to 30mgs. G 800 ## There are no 800mg Vicodin tablets. This tablet contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen, the active ingredient in Motrin, used to relieve pain and swelling. It is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. My doctor recently switched me from adderall IR (20 mg/4x day) to adderall xr 20 mg/once a day. So far I am feeling ok with the xr, however, I feel like I need a little bit higher dosage. I can tell that I'm not getting the same effects from the XR because the dosage is so much smaller. Shouldn't I be taking 80 mg/day of XR (same mg dosage as I was for IR)??? Walgreens as of last week is NOT taking ANY kind of discount card or their own discount card to cover this medication. It went from $107.00 to 168.00$. What the heck is going on. Day 17 no oxy, detoxed without sub. Valium, clonidine , robaxin and a few others. When will I be normal again. I am good in the morning, by 1pm I am a jack ass and my legs hurt and everything pisses me off. can't crack a smile to save my life. ## So, you just stopped the Oxycodone, without tapering? That's pretty high of a dosage to do that with, even though you were only on it for four months. And to be honest, it may take 4 to 6 weeks, before you start to feel more normal and have less of those annoying symptoms. From my own experience stopping large doses of narcotics cold turkey after stopping pain management, I can tell you that it was about a month for the pain to ease up and about 6 to 8 weeks for the mental symptoms, such as irritability to ease off.
