i have gout. i am taking 25mg blue capsule called indanet from Mexico. i feel numbness in my leg and foot, could it be a sympton from this capsule, or a sympton from the gout it self. the dr. had prescribed colchine for my gout, but i got indanet from Mexico. ## Since you have gout and are taking both medications, it is rather difficult to say which one is causing it. can you take other pain medications wiht this perscription? ## can you take indomethacin and percocet? ## It is not generally advised, Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and Percocet contains Acetaminophen, which is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, thus combining the two is not necessary and could be dangerous, as you could overdose. But now if I take one for a migraine it immediately gets worse, even with ice over my eyes while sleeping. When I wake up it feels like I have been hit in the face with a brick!!!!! can I sub diclofenac dr for indomethacin cr?j ## The dosage would differ, but otherwise they are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories that are used to treat the same types of conditions. Has generic indomethacin ER 75MG been discontinued by Eon labs? Is there another generic manufacturer that makes this drug? ## The database that I use does not list the manufacturer, because it says there are several who make it as a generic, but it does list the 75mg ER as being still available. ## I just picked some up for my wife at Kroger pharmacy. ER 75 mg, mfg: EON LABS. ## Yes, as I said, it is definitely still available. The one by Eon may have been discontinued, but most generics are made by many different manufacturers, so just because one company stops production, that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't available at all anymore.

hurts to swallow not a sore throat but pain after i swallow ## Are you saying it hurts, after you swallow this medication? If so, then are you making sure that you take it with lots of water? Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may irritate the lining of the esophagus, if it comes into contact with it, because it isn't completely washed down. Alternatively, they can also increase your production of stomach acid, which can rebound into the esophagus and cause this type of irritation. Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to stop using this or you may need a medication to help reduce your stomach acid production.

They are considered 'anti-inflammatory' medicinces. I know that there can definitely be some nasty side effects if someone is taken off Indomethacin abruptly - the body basically becomes dependent on it once somebody is on a regular regimen of it. Can Indomethacin and Wellburtin taken together cause a reaction? Lightheadness, dizzy, confusion, slurred speech, blood pressure was high. I ended up in the emergency room. Poison control said it was these medications that caused this. ## They aren't actually interactions, but they can be side effects of these medications, which could be worsened by combining them. For example, both Indomethacin, and Wellbutrin may cause dizziness, drowsiness, sedation and somnolence as side effects, according to FDA reports, so taking them both could make those symptoms more severe, and that could lead to the slurring of speech that you experienced. I have a chest infection and have been taking amoxicillin tablets. My brother is taking Norco after a knee replacement, but a few days ago he came up with another problem. Having had gout before, he started getting redness and some swelling under the other foot. I am taking 800 mg of ibuprofin 3 times daily. Good relief. Doc prescribed indomethacin 50 mg for gout.
