Side effects of getting off of hydro codons ## I haven't taken Hydro's for 5 days. The only side effect I'm having is a lot of fatigue. I don't want to do anything because I get so tired and a little restlessness at night. Before I go to bed, I drink a cup of Sleepy Time tea, take one Passion Flower pill 250MG & before I know it, I want to go to bed. The side effects that some people may experience when you stop taking Hydros may be: cold flashes w/goose bumps, excessive yawning or sneezing, extreme drowsiness, diarrhea, insomnia, involuntary leg movements, mood changes, muscle and bone pain, sweats and strong drug craving. Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. I was wondering what the difference is between hydro and oxo codone? Is it the way the pill is made or extracted from the plant, Hydro is by water and Oxy is by oxygen??? I seem to think the oxycodone is stronger and almost all doctors and health care say it is more addicting than hydrocodone, why is this??? I have been taking hydrocodone/APAP 10/650. Recently my pharmacy changed the pill to a blue with M361 on side. I haven't gotten relief from pain with one pill as prescribe instead I'm up to one and have or two to control pain. What is the difference? How long have you been taking the new one? Your body should adjust after a week or so, but that's not really going to happen if you keep doubling up. Going to Pain Management was on opana ER 5mg Didnt like them barely worked...they want to switch me to hydrocodone compound 10/200. How r they? I'm in the worst pain I've been in. Absolute 10/10, my back has been keeping me up all night. I'm scared to take pills and feel anything like light headed or dizzy because I have anxiety. Yes, you can break them up and take much less to see how it works for you, then add another quarter, as needed. Unless there is some specific reason that your doctor has told you not to do so. These also tend to be very strong for me, so I tend to split them up, as well. For each 10mgs you take of Hydrocodone, you'd only need 6.67mgs of the Oxycodone to be equivalent. I have been taking Hydrocodone 10 since March for RSD the doctor changed me this week to Acetaminophen/cod3. The doctor said that the law made it where he can not give the hydrocodone any more. I want to know if they are the same? I was told they are the same. I'm scared to take it because I have sleep apnea and a real sensitivity to codone. I get breathing problems and rashes. after reading about so many types of codone medications, I was wondering why is there so many different kinds. Aren't most of them suppose to treat pain control. While reading the articles on a lot of them they all say the same thing. Why can't a patent be for a lifetime instead letting them expire and letting every pharmacustical company produce their own version and confusing everybody about which one is best. Had a TKR 8/11/15. Sent home with Norco then hydro codone acetaminophen 10-325. Worked a few days. Got really bad shin pain can't stand up. Then Dr gave me OxyContin 10. Time realease. My wife as an allergic type react when codone or hydrocodne or any drug with codone in it. She starts itching and gets jittery and said she can't stand her on skin. Saying all of this she has a very deep congested cough and sometimes it's uncontrollable. Our MD said that he is very very limited in what he can give her for this condition.
