my pill is white with M357 on one side. This pill is suppose to be a muscle relaxer, I have lower back pain - didn't help at all. Any response? ## Your pill is vicodan, or, rather, a generic made by Mallinkro chemical company also known as hydrocodone, which is a narcotic, Schedule III controlled substance, and is also an opioid (synthetic formula of opium-based morphine). The M357 refers to the strength, which is 5 mg of hydrocodone, and 500 mg APAP, which is acetamenaphen--it reads, as hydrocodone/APAP 5/500 mg. It is used for mild to moderate types of pain, and the acet. portion is for inflammation. I have not heard of its use as a muscle relaxant, per se. Flexeril, Skelaxin, or Soma would be much better for a muscle relaxant in your case, it seems. All three are non-narcotic, th...

watson 349 ## Yes, this is hydrocodone/acetaminophen. It is generic hydrocodone 5mg with acetaminophen (or tylenol, and the same as APAP) 500mg. This is generic for Vicodin, Lortab among others. It is a schedule 3 controlled substance that is a very addictive painkiller used for moderate to severe pain. Side effects include drowsiness, euphoria, dizziness, constipation, among others. ## I'd just like to update this post to add some more recent information, since there have already been some changes implemented in some areas concerning this medication and there are still more under consideration. Due to what the FDA and DEA feels is overuse and over prescribing of this medication, they have been actively switching it to be only a short-term use medication. This started over the last ...

picture ## Sorry, this is made by many, many companies since the generic version has become available, we could not possible post pictures of all of them for you. However, if you will respond back with the markings on the pill itself, I can check what it is and let you know for sure if it what you are asking about. You should also be aware the in the US, Hydrocone tablets are only available in a max of 10mgs, they do not come in 15mgs. ## want to see a picture of a hydrocodone lp112

I want to know what I am taking before I take it. I have had 3 back surgeries and was only looking for a little relief. I was told this was the new hydo without the Tylenol in it. I think I have been scammed. Oh well, I have a Dr, Appt next week.. But what the heck is that pill!!!! ## L467, round and orange comes up as chewable aspirin. Zohydro ER is a capsule and has Zogenix and a number indicating the mg of the capsule imprinted on it. ## What BL posted is correct. To add further specifics, it is manufactured by Perrigo and they list it as containing 81mgs of Aspirin and it's orange flavored. The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, head...

white oblong scored in the middle-letters ip 110-medication pill ## Depending on how someone's body reacts to the medication, it could take a lot more or a lot less pills than you think. I'm sorry to hear that you or someone you're referring to is even contemplating information like this. Just a thought, but if you're sole intent is to end your life, wouldn't you try to take a more definitive approach other than popping a random number of pills to see if it has the ability to kill? Unfortunately, it may just cause a person to end up in the hospital in a far more worse situation than they were in to begin with. ## If that's what you're thinking about, please reconsider. I was taking Hydrocodone 7.5 for a long time after brain surgery in 2010 and headaches have not gone away .. Is the Butal Acetamino CF50 325-40 stronger? What does this medication have in it? ## Hello, Momo! How are you? You won't be able to switch to that, the medications with Butalbital are not being manufactured. I'm not sure why, or if it's a permanent thing, but right now they are unavailable. As to something stronger for migraines, most ERs actually use Dilaudid. Learn more Dilaudid details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Been taking Mallinckrodt 7.5 mg/325 mg ACETA Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetamininophen color white, for quite awhile due to back pain untreatable by surgery. Just switched pharmacies due to retirement. The new pills are by a company called Qualitest 7.5 mg/325 mg APAP color peach. I have taken the new ones for over a week and have noticed more back pain and the pills are not as effective as the Mallinckodt. I would like to take the new ones in somewhere? To be tested to see if they are what they are suppose to be, where would I go for that? ## They both contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, APAP is just medical speak for the Acetaminophen. i take 14 mg of xanax and 8 10/325 hydocodone for pain a day. how long can my liver take all this before damage. i take them cause i have too and am under doctors care. also take heart meds too. thx. ## Respiratory arrest should be your worry right now. E-mail everyone before you fall out....... ## heart meds is for pots sydrome and tachycardia. its under control with meds ## Having those conditions under control with the medications is not what was being referred to, what was intended was the possibility of respiratory arrest that can occur from taking that high of an amount of Xanax and the narcotic each day. Both of the other medications can cause depression of the central nervous system. So, while you may be worried about long term liver damage, CNS depression should also be a conce...

What is the difference between Hydocodone 7.5 325 and Norco? I understand Norco has a lesser strength. Both are generic for Vicodin so why would a doctor change it from Hydrocodone to Norco if its exactly the same thing? I get a different result from Norco but not Hydrocodone. Why is that? I can't take Norco. I have chronic pain. Why would a doctor change it to Norco if it's the exact the same thing. Can you explain this to me please? Thank you kindly ## Hi Rosee, Just to confirm, Hydrocodone 7.5/325 ALSO CONTAINS "ACETAMINOPHEN". That's where the 325mg comes into play on the label. So to be clear, it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. A few other pointers I want to touch on in response to some statements made in your post: - Norco is simply a ...

what is the difference between hydrocodon 5-325 and hydocodone 5-500? also should I take both or just 1 every 4 hrs as prescribed. ## The difference between the two is that the the first one you mentioned contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the second contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone, with 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The name brand for this would be Vicodin. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, which can be addictive. and coupled with the Acetaminophen, which can be toxic if you take too much in a day, you should only take the amount you have been prescribed. Can I become addicted to hydocodone/apap 5mg/325mg 1 tab 4 times daily? ## Well, first you need to understand the difference between addiction and dependence. Addiction happens when someone abused a medication, because they like the effects it has on them, so they keep taking more and more of it, since those effects gradually wear off, as their body gets used to the medication. A sudden cessation in these cases can result in very dangerous withdrawal symptoms. Dependence is what occurs when you use a medication, as prescribed, for a long period of time. It happens just because your body has gotten used to having it on a regular basis. A sudden cessation in these cases results in much more mild withdrawal symptoms that usually don't put the person in any danger. So, if you are taking...

My 9yr old was perscribed 7.5mls of hydocodone aceteminophen 7.5mg for pain after a tonsilectomy. I have hydroco/apap solution 7.5-500 from her sisters tonsilectomy when she was 6yrs old. Are they the same? Same dose? The hydro/apap expired 7-1-14. Can I still use it? ## Hello, Crystal! How are you? No, you should dispose of the old one. Liquid medications don't last long past the expiration date, they tend to degrade much faster than solid forms and they can also go sour, so it may make her sick, if you give it to her. I'm a Disabled Army Combat Veteran and I've had, to no surprise, a slew of different types of hydocodone, but recently the pills I've been issued have red or blue spots in them. I was told by my doctor that the spotted pills absorb into your body faster and therefore begin working faster and last longer, is this fact or fiction? ## Fiction! They are all regular release tablets that will take 15 to 20 minutes to start working and the speckles in some of them make no difference to that. That's just something that the manufacturer decided to do to their tablets to set them apart from the others available on the market. Learn more Vicodin details here. Any such colors and speckles are entirely up to whit and whim and mean nothing whatsoever to the actual absorbency rate of t...

I would like to know if anyone knows the effects of mixing Methadone with Hydocodone? Would it be possible for someone to be delusional and hallucinate on this combination? ## Normally when you are on Methadone and need other medicine for a break thru, hydrocodone is the choice that most doctors use cause it has less interreactions than any other , it is usally better if you take them seperate and not at the same time, take your methadone then like 2 hours late take your hydrocodone, that should lessen any side effects, if you still have halucinations and delussions contact your doctor and see if there severe enough to change meds, cause it isnt un common to get some halucinations with some pain meds at first starting just monitor them and if they are severe or worry you contact your do...
