My doc electronically sent a script of hydrocodone to Wal-Mart 17days ago saying take 1 every 6hrs FOR 20 DAYS.Gave me 80pills which is only enough for 19days..nbd. He sent a new script to Wal-Mart today but increased amount to cover 30 days. Pharmacist REFUSES TO FILL until the 19th again sayin I have to wait 30 days for script even though previous script stated on bottle 20day supply & instructions & amount only amount to 19days. Says insurance won't cover until 30days. I called other pharmacies& all agreed insurance will cover now Or even yesterday. Wal-Mart pharmacist was so rude.refused to explain why I have to go 12days without my meds when doc says I need em.Refused to give me her name or a supervisor & HUNG UP ON ME! I was originally prescribed hydromet which I know has a narcotic in it the pharmacy gave me chlo tuss liquid! From my research this product has no narcotic in it. It was originally prescribed to relieve my cough at bedtime and help me sleep. Please help is this the same or was I dooped at my pharmacy and this has no pain reliever!!! ## Amber, Chlo tuss liquid does NOT contain hydrocodone nor any other opiate type preparation. I was prescribed this medicine and it says for severe pain, is 5 mg the Lowest amount you can get or is it higher than 7.25? ## It comes in hydrocodone 5mgs, 7.5 mgs and 10 mgs. There is 500 mgs of tylenol in it. The 5 mg is the lowest dose in pill form ## Hydrocodone, which is the generic for Vicoden, is what I was prescribed after Percocet didn't give me much relief. I then was switched to Roxycodone, because I have elevated liver levels in my blood work, and the Tylenol can worsen that. I am now prescribed 30 mgs. of Roxycodone three times a day. What is the best remidy for Hydroco/APAP5-500MG induced constipation? I know the first step is to stop taking this pain medicine, but what can I do to induce a bowel movement? ## You could try natural remedies such as fiber (Fibercon or power forumulas), eating prunes and lots of veggies, etc. Of course, your body should start to get back to normal once the meds are discontinued. Just double check to make sure you won't be going through withdrawals if you have been taking it for awhile. I was on 100mls of methodone and then 50 mls of fentayl patch, and now taking 6mls of timereales diauldid which is not working ## Did your doctor direct you to make this switch? Because 6mgs of Dilaudid is not going to be equivalent to the 100mcgs of Fentanyl. It's the most powerful one available and is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Dilaudid details here. Meaning I cannot get an answer to this after much research over the years here and there. It’s always the same questions, what’s better, what’s more powerful (which is Oxy of course) or what is the difference between the two. My question is this. Does Hydro hit DIFFERENT receptors then Oxy and vice versa? If Oxy is more powerful, then “assuming” it fills receptors that Hydro does not?? So would taking an Percocet AND a Norco at once not be perfect, to say hitting ALL the receptors? I have to take a little more than 4 10 mg hydrocodone per day due to several neck surgery's; parkinson's w/ dystonia (severe muscle spams)...What should be the levels in my urine? It is not normal to have severe pain, from a healing sprain, so my concern is that there may be a fracture, or something that they missed.
