Is it ok if i changed pills every month? my first 4 months i took althea pill but i felt that it makes me dry, then i changed to nordette for 3 months but i felt frequently headache, and now Im taking micropill. Is there any effect about it? ## You may experience some more side effects by changing frequently, because of the different hormone levels that are in them, but that's about all, unless your doctor has said otherwise. However, due to that fact, you should settle on one as soon as you can get one that works well for you, without causing problems and not keep switching. Our bodies really don't like the constantly fluctuating hormone levels. I'm just a little confused here. I just switch from Trust Pill to Micropil. The instructions with Micropil says to start taking it on the 5th day of your menstruation, but the thing is my period only lasts for 3 days (I have 28 days cycle). So my period started on a Feb. 7 (Saturday) and ended on Feb. 9 (Monday) and started taking the pill on Feb 11 (Wednesday) which is day 5 from my period. Did took the pills correctly? I've recently discovered Microscopy. My insurance pays for it and it is available, but is likely to prevent disease and complications - so it isn't widely recommended by doctors. Microscopy means that a culture is grown on a petri dish to discover the disease causing bacteria. An antibiotics is then prepared to effectively kill the particular bacteria. This reduces use of antibiotics and helps maintain health and digestion. Some microscopy requires only spitting into a container - which is much easier than the blood tests that look for antibodies or general infections. It doesn't cost much and saves the insurance companies money - because it is less invasive and will protect health.
