I need to reduce my intake of Contrave because of side affects. I'm cutting back from 4 pills to 3. How long does it take for Contrave to reduce in my system so that I don't have the severe symptoms? ## Hello, Penni! How are you feeling? Has there been any improvement, yet? What side effects have you been experiencing? When it comes to this medication, it depends on which ingredient is causing the symptoms. The Naltrexone in it only takes about a day, but the Bupropion may take about a week, based on the FDA listed half-lives. ## I saw my doctor yesterday. We have reduced my dosage to 2 pills a day to see if that helps. If not than next week I'll go down to 1 a day. My worst symptoms out of several are hot flashes & nausea. ## I've only been taking contrave for a wee...

I've been on 60 mg daily of Baclofen for a few years, now, and every time I take doses too close together or take a little more than prescribed to help me sleep or with the pain, it gives me horrendous side effects. I get dizzy, it's hard to walk, I twitch a lot, and have a burning feeling in my skin. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, it’s awful and it lasts for the whole next day. I had to miss work today and I really needed those hours. You'd think I would have learned by now, ugh. So my question is, is there a way to speed up Baclofen getting out of my system? Or do I just have to wait for my body to eliminate it? Thanks! ## Not really, while exercise and increased fluid intake may help, the only thing that is really guaranteed to work is time. (NDC 01...

I've been taking 55mgs of methadone for the past 7 months. Then it got to where i couldn't pay and had transportation problems. They financially detoxed me down 10 mgs a day from last Wednesday to Friday which left me on 25mgs. I couldn't get back to the clinic to finish my financial detox which would have only taken 2 more days. A friend gave me 20 mgs each day up until yesterday around 3:00 pm was my last dose. I'm feeling pretty bad right now. My plan is to start suboxone when all the methadone is out of my system. My question is how long do i have to wait to start my first dose of suboxone. I definitely don't want to take it too early and get thrown into bad withdraws. Help ## Hello my name is Robert, I was on the liquid for almost three years, and course I found...

I have been taking 15mg Mirtrazapine for only one week. First night I slept for about 12 hours and was spaced out for the rest of the day. Took them again the following evening and woke up feeling like it was the end of the world, horrible. After a week of feeling like a zombie and feeling disconnected from everything, including my feelings, I have decided to stop them but still have a horrible feeling of being disconnected and feel like all my muscles in my body have gone weak. Anybody know how long it takes for this drug to get out of your system? getting worried about the disconnected feeling. Thanks ## You weren't taking a very high dose, nor were you taking it for a long time, so it shouldn't take more than a week or so. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nause...

I have been taking 1mg xantax a day for over a year how long will it take to be out of my system I weigh in app. 160lbs have not taken any for 6 days ## HI, Susie! How are you feeling? Have you had any withdrawal symptoms? This is a medication you really shouldn't stop cold turkey, because doing so causes the risk of seizures, so please be careful. As to how long it will take to process out of your system, so any side effects stop and your body gets used to no longer having the medication added, that will take about 4 to 6 weeks. ## I have been on Clonazapam for 20+ yrs. I am currently on 3 mg a day. Ive had seizures and Horrible WITHDRAWLS including suicidal ideations and an obsession with my death, will I have to take this medication forever? So plz give me a suggestion as to how i can get off of it. ## A slow taper is usually the best solution, according to NIH reports. Withdrawals could cause nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, and seizures. Are you on any other medications? How much Tramadol are you taking each day? ## Kratom red vein....research it. I'm on day 5 cold turkey with little to no withdrawals....I was taking 8 to 20 a day for 3 years. I tried tapering and cold turkey before and thought I was going to die. I was taken cefadrine 500mg 4 times daily. I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant. before taken the cefadrine I was feeling fine. then I got diagnosed with a UTI and and im 9 weeks pregnant. before taken the antibiotics I was taken the antibiotics and I started to feel really sick. and I have not been taken them now for a few days will they still make me feel sick. would they still be in my system? ## Hi Kelly, Do you feel any better now after having stopped the Cefradine? To my understanding, most antibiotics can take several days or more to get out of your system completely, depending on how much and how long you've been taking it for. Other factors that can effect a drug's excretion rate are your metabolism, age, weight, diet, overall health, etc. If you have to continue taking s...

After taking this med for about two months I've been feeling like someone wants to rip my skin off and ect I stopped taking this asap and am in desperate need of knowing how long is it before it wears completely out my system. ## Quetiapine is eliminated with a mean terminal half-life of approximately 6-7 hours. This means that every 6 hours, half of the previous amount of Quetiapine in the body disappears. For example, if you took 10mg of Quetiapine at 12AM (midnight), at 6AM 5mg of Quetiapine will be left in your body. At 12PM (noon), 2.5mg will be left, and so forth until there is 0mg left in your body. With that said, it should be completely out of your system in roughly 2 days time. I hope this helps! ## Thank you for your edvice it is really appreciated. The dose I was taking ...

I began Sprycel January 1, d/ced it 1/30. How soon can I expect that it is completely out of my system? ## Soon after beginning Sprycel, I experienced shortness of breath, and serious edema, plus serious tiredness. My MD and I agreed to stop the Sprycel, be off CML Rx for 1 month, resume Gleevec which I had taken before. It is now 2 weeks later, I am improved, more energy, less (but still present) edema. Should I expect further improvement, or suspect that my symptoms, although coincident with taking Sprycel, may not be due to the Sprycel? ## Hello, Melba! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Those can be typical side effects of Sprycel, as listed by the FDA. However, you may need some help to remove that edema, such a your doctor prescribin...

How long does it take 1mg xanax to enter your system? ## Quickly, 20 minutes or so! ## From what I could gather, Eddy's estimate was right on spot! It usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes max to start feeling the effects of Xanax. However, timing can also depend on the dose, your tolerance, and how much food you might have in your stomach at the time. Other benzotype medications such as Klonopin are long acting and can sometimes take up to an hour to notice relief. But if you're taking a lower dose of Xanax (immediate release) with no tolerance, I'd imagine that you'd notice it working within the first 15 minutes or so. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Xanax Details I hope this helps!

can Zopiclonebe used with Diazepaam ## If they are used together, you do have to proceed with caution, because both of these medications can cause depression of the central nervous system. Learn more Zopiclone details here. Learn more Diazepam details here. Thus, if the person is sensitive to the effects of medications, or takes too high of a dose, they could end up with shallow breathing, feeling very drowsy and sedated. If it goes to far, there is a chance that such effects could result in respiratory or cardiac failure that might be fatal. So, if you're going to take both, make sure the dosage has been carefully calibrated by a doctor and that you know to watch for any of the danger signs that I listed. Are there any other questions or comments?

I had tramadol yesterday for the first time and within the hour i was throwing up dizzy and really light headed and today still dizzy and nauseated almost like a really bad hangover.. Was thinking it maybe an allergic reaction from taking it. As. I am also allergic to codiene. Just wondering how kong it will take for it to leave my system. ## Those are possible side effects to taking it, but not characteristic of an allergic reaction. However, I do understand, since I experienced the same thing when I tried it and it was quite miserable. If you only took one dose, then it shouldn't last too long, about 24 hours or so. Thus, if you're still feeling the symptoms, you should consult your doctor, since something else may be causing them. How are you feeling today? Learn more Tramado...

I took my first 10mg dose of Belviq at 5:40 pm and within an hour it felt like my hair was standing on end. I felt somewhat goofy/happy. Then became really anxious. Became very thirsty. My skin started to feel like I had a slight sunburn. No hives or rashes though. I know this was only one pill but it seemed really strong. It is 9:36 am the next day and I can still feel it in my system (side affects have subsided). I have not taken another pill yet because I had to go to work and didn't want to feel like I was high at work. Is this normal when you first start taking it? ## Hello, Laura! How are you? Yes, those can be side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA. It may also cause nausea, headache, and anorexia. It might be best to change the time of you day you take it, s...

Hello, I have been on Oxycodone for two and a half years. I take 80 mgs for a bad back and recent gall bladder surgery that went horrible. Because I have such a high tolorance for the Oxycodone. I now get no feeling and it is starting not to work. What can I do to rid my body of this medication so that I can bring the work part of it back and the euphoria as well! ## The only way to really do that would be to stop taking it for a period of time, which may mean several months, or longer, since you have been taking it for such a long time. You should also be informed that the feeling of euphoria has nothing to do with whether or not the medication is working for you. That is just a side effect and it is completely normal for it to wear off, as your body gets used to the medication. Have y...
