You also may run into a problem if you are trying to get them to prescribe a specific medication. Most doctors will be reluctant to do so, because when someone asks for a specific medication, especially a controlled substance, they consider it to be drug seeking behavior. For pain. I've had two back surgeries and am still in pain and numbness. I have been taking my pain meds as needed. My doctor wrote another prescription.butthey both said 1 every 12 hours as needed so I took them as needed for pain. Can I get the second script filled? ## Are they the same dose and same medication or are the prescriptions different? I have an autistic child starting high school next year, my oldest son flunked out of college and my daughter got a new car and someone without insurance hit it. Plus the stress of my job. Most pain management doctors should have a general understanding of what you need to safely get through the withdrawal phase of such medications. In the event that you can't get Subutex, I'd even consider cutting the Lortabs into smaller fractions so you can take a partial dose to help ween down and lessen your need for more addicting meds like Subutex. I need help finding a Dr in east county or San Diego that will prescribe klonopin or ativan. Ive had anxiety and panic attacks plus some stress from 2 near fatal car accidents. I am in somerset Pa, I was on Xanax for 7 years, this was the only thing my family doctor found that worked for me. I have a medical card now, so I would have to find doctor who accepts these. ## A medical card? Unless it has a Visa or MC logo nobody wants to help you online. I priced some the other day.
