Hello, I'm having a problem getting my Norco 7.5 filled. I've had 7 surgeries since October removing staph infection absess. These are very bad absess. Usually over 4 inches deep and about that length and all over my body. My doctor has been prescribing them to me because the incisions have to be packed by my home health nurse or the doctor, which severely painful. I just was released from the hospital after having another surgery and he gave me a new prescription because I'm supposed to take them before anyone touches near the incision, so that I don't let the pain become unbearable. This is causing me to run out earlier than some people. The deal is I suffer from seizures and blackouts and if my blood pressure goes very high from the pain I can and have either a seizur...

Hi, I had my Jadelle implants removed in February 18th after having them for 3 years..been trying to get pregnant but no luck yet. I have baby fever and was wondering if its normal to take long to concieve. I have had regular periods too. ## Hi Lyz just wondering if you have had any luck yet with becoming pregnant? I also had the Jadelle removed in Feb since having it in for 5 yrs and have been trying to conceive since. I was on the jab 8 yrs ago, stopped and got pregnant with my son 2 months later. It seems a lot of women are having trouble conceiving after the Jadelle, is this something to be concerned about? ## Yes, it can take several months, after you stop any type of hormonal contraceptive, as reported by the NIH. Usually, women are advised to wait 3 to 4 months, anyway, after sto...

I used yesterday morning half a balloon how soon can i take a sub? My legs hurt thats about it. ## Hello, Kychan! How are you? I'm not familiar with that phrase, so I am not sure what it is that you took. However, I can tell you that you can't take Suboxone, until you are in full withdrawal from everything else. The FDA lists Suboxone as containing Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the latter of which is used to block opiates, to help prevent people from abusing them, while they are being treated with it. Thus, taking it while other opiates are still in your body could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation....

Is it safe if I took fioricet about 4 hours ago and then take klonopin? ## Has your doctor prescribed them both? The problem with taking them together is due to the Butalbital in the Fioricet and the Clonazepam in the Klonopin, some barbiturates can reduce the efficacy of Benzodiazepines, so the Klonopin may not be as effective for you, as it was, at its regular dosage. However, conversely, the Benzodiazepines can increase the amount of the Barbiturate that your body absorbs and, in some cases, where people where taking high doses of both, it has resulted in an overdose. ## Yes, the dr prescribed both. I took a klonopin two hours ago as of writing this. Now I have headache and need to know if I can take a fioricet? ## How long do I have to wait to take tramadol or nyquil after taking fi...

My 35 year old son has HBP and high heart rate. . He used to take Bystolic but then lost his insurance and couldn't go to dr. Hasn't taken medicine for 8 months. His BP ran around 165/110 - sometimes higher. Heart rate has gone up to 175. He finally started back on Bystolic last week. Today his BP was 140/90. Much better, but still too high. How long to know if he is taking dufficient dose? ## Hello, JS! How are you and your son? That is a very good improvement over 165/110! I'm glad it's already working so well for him. It will take about 4 weeks to reach its full effectiveness level in his body, so he can tell how much it's going to lower it at this dosage. Learn more Bystolic details here. However, there are other options available that are much cheaper, so if he ...

I did a morphine 500mg pill an hour ago can I do a suboxone strip 8mg now ? ## What did you take? There is no 500mg Morphine pill available. Can you please double check? When taking Suboxone, you need to be in full withdrawal, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. How soon after taking certIn can someone take amoxicillin? I too ceftin last night can I take amoxicillin today? ## Hello, Lee! How are you? Yes, as long as your doctor has approved the change, you can switch cleanly from one antibiotic to another. The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How much time does one have to wait after taking ceftin before one can start amoxicillin?

My doctor prescribed me Naltrexone to ease me out of drinking wine daily. He said to start it immediately but since I had wine yesterday do I need to wait a few days? He did not mention that but now I have seen it discussed on some forums. I really really want to stop drinking and become a more efficient person, the person I used to be. ## @Possumqueen, According to NIH.gov, "Naltrexone should not be used to treat people who are still drinking large amounts of alcohol." - However, my opinion is that a little wine each day probably wouldn't fall into this category, if a patient has at least some level of control over their habit. Additionally, Naltrexone has been reported to not cause a severe physical response in the event that you do drink (although the above statement lead...

I have been on oxycodone and methadone for 9 yrs. because of 2 failed back surgeries. My doctor moved down the street and the new nurse says if they where filled 8/20 then can not be filled until 9/20. She said her computer wouldn't let her fill it sooner and the doctor would lose his license if he filled it to soon. I take them exact therefore I'll be out. Yet the pharmacist said she could call to have them fill it sooner. Does anybody know what the government says? so I can go back to the doctor with something. I have a feeling he doesn't know what she is doing. Maybe to lazy to look into a program that's screwed up? ## Can be filled 30 days apart. The computer must be wrong because if they were filled on 8/20, 30 days would be 9/18. There are 31 days In August. ## The...

When I go back to get the rest of the month worth will my insurance cover it? I have mass health. They are cutting me down as I asked them to in hopex to me getting off of them soon,I just didn't know if the insurance would cover two scripts in a month period even though it's only going to be for five days until I can go back to get the rest. ## Re: "how early can you fill oxycodone pills" To ensure an accurate answer, it'd probably be best to consult the specific pharmacy location that's filling your prescription. According to the CDC.gov, state laws surrounding refills may vary. They note that in ...

I take a cartizem 180 er in the morning. I had a cardiac ablation just about two months ago and I'm experiencing a more rapid heart rate than normal that goes on for about 3 hrs. I took a 60 mg cartizem at 12:00. When can I take another one? I'm still experiencing rapid on and off heart rate. ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I am sorry about the problem you're experiencing. When is the rapid heart rate occurring? Is it any specific time of day? After eating? After certain activities? You should not adjust your dosage, without your doctor's approval. While I know these experiences are scary, you need to get in and see them, as soon as possible, before making any changes, or adding more doses. I have gallbladder pain and in taking 5/325 one bottle from hospital says take every 4 hours.. and my bottle from Doctor with same dosage says take every 6 hours I'm in pain I took my last ones at 7 pm cN I take more now??? I've been taking 2 at a time my Name is Lindsay ## Lindsay, Although the pdr lists 1-2 tablets by mouth every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. If your personal physicians only recommend 1 tablet every 4 or 6 hours I wouldn't exceed a total of 6 in a 24 hour period. If your pain level is so unmanageable you might consider being re-evaluated since a change in condition may have occurred . I hope you find relief soon. Regards, Kenie

I am having painful foot surgery next month. I want to make sure my pain medication works for me. I have tapered down my suboxine to 1/5 of a 2mg. strip every other day. If I am off completely for a few days before surgery, will the pain medication work? ## It would be best to double check with your doctor to make sure you stop taking it for the proper amount of time, before surgery. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How long have you been on the Suboxone?

Also he has a problem in spleen and blood Thanks alot please reply me as soon as possible ## Hi Lana, From what I could gather, there are potentially unsafe drug interactions between Jakafi (ruxolitinib) and Hydroxyurea. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "MONITOR CLOSELY: The concomitant or sequential administration of multiple antineoplastic agents may potentiate the risk and severity of additive toxicities, such as immunosuppression and myelotoxicity. I am 29 and live in fresno ca. I am looking for a good Doctor outpatient to help me get off pain medication I've been taking for server endometriosis for over 4 years. I am planning on doing IVF and want to be off all medication. ## Hello, Rachel! How are you? In this case, it would be best to consult and OB Gyn and let them direct you in the proper way to do so, or refer you to another doctor that can help. Things can be very touchy with both your condition and for the success of IVF, do you have to be very careful. What medication are you taking and what is your dosage?

Prescribed as a added medication for anxiety/depression. If I feel it's giving me side effects would it be suggested to taper off 100mg per a nightly dose of 1000mg? Been taking this for 5 years. ## That's actually a very high dose and you've been taking it for a very long time, thus a 100mg reduction might be too much. Learn more Gabapentin details here. What types of side effects is it causing? It would be odd to experience them after such a long period of time. Have you consulted your doctor? They'd be best able to guide you on a safe tapering schedule. Since this is an anticonvulsant, tapering down too fast could put you at risk of seizures, so it's not safe to try to play with it on your own.

My directions were 1 every 6 hours but I got up ans by mistake took another 3 hours early. Am I in trouble? It was prescribed because I couldn't get my nausea under control. I had just received a new knee. It is 2 am and I don't know what I should do. I tried to force myself to vomit but that didn't work. Advice? ## Hello, LouAnne! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? With many medications, the FDA says that being a few hours off isn't a major issue, as long as you don't continue doing so… however, you forgot to mention what medication you're taking, so I can't be certain. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you!

Been on suboxane for over 4 yrs to get off 30mgs of oxcodone! Subs have helped but I want off them but scared of the withdrawals! Need surgery and said I have to stop the subs to get surgery! Is there a easy way beside tapering slowly? ## No ## I broke my hand and was prescribed a strong opiate pain reliever. I have been on zubsolv for two years and recently tapered down from 12 mg to 6 mg. how long until the pain meds will work on my hand. I don't want to take risk of making myself sick or dependent but I'm in a lot of pain ## I just started Naltrexone 50 mg and I am very excited to start my new life of financial freedom. I took my last dose of oxy 15mg this am. How soon is it to start the naltrexone? Can I start with a small dose?

I do not see the answers to this question. You have to be in full blown withdrawals. I wanted something to get of 40 mg of oxycodone and then the doctor told me I could have withdrawals if I took too soon so your going to be in withdrawals anyway. Im scared. What kind of drug can you take so you don't get that opioid withdrawal syndrome. Wish sounds as about as scary as withdrawals ## Tunpuli, Well no matter how you proceed you will have to experience some level of Withdrawl Before you can transition to one of these ORT medications. It is highly advisable to seek care with a trained medical provider so they Can initiate treatment at the appropriate time.Good luck in this new Phase of your life. ## @tupuli, Re: "how long after taking zubsolv can you use opiate" With all due r...
