How Long Should Side Effects Last

I took one dose of Acticlate as indicated by my dermatologist. I experienced side effects of tummy rumbles, pain from the navel up, sinus headache, & general malaise; shoulders hurt, back hurts. I have not taken any further dose. How long should these side effects last now that I have stopped taking the medication? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? I have been on losartan 25mg for 3 weeks. BP well controlled at 125/70. Getting dizziness and weakness in legs. I am having great results. I have been taking it for three weeks and have lost 12 lbs. I am at full dose 4 pills a day. I have this horrible bitter taste in my mouth like crushed asprin and I have this loud ringing in my ears. I can deal with the ringing ear but, the only way to combat the taste is to constantly chew sugarless gum. I've been taking Metanx for 6 days now; the pain in my feet has decreased but now I have tingling in both legs and at night I have some minor tingling in my torso and face. I have been on Lyrica for about 3 weeks now for neuropathic pain. I am an MS patient and the Lyrica is helping. I have had side effects of weight gain and sleepiness. I may have to increase my dosage because I am still having a little pain. I began Topamax a week and a half ago as a migraine prevention. I am experiencing random facial, hands, and feet numbness. Mental fogginess, dull headaches, and tiredness. If it's supposed to be taken on a schedule regularly, then 90 tablets would last about 22 and a half days, but if it's to be taken as needed, then this was most likely intended to be a 30 day supply. Hi! I went on Amox-Clav because of swollen lymph nodes, but no diagnosis as to why they were swollen. I was on a 7 day course. I had a UTI and i was given CLAVAM 625 and as i was in the fourth day of my dose i started feeling really weak in my joints, stomach upset and nausea, plus headache. I could not even move from my bed and i started throwing up. So i stopped the dose. Hi, my husband (age 33) just found out he has very low T levels across the board, his main T level was 152. He was started on Androgel 20.25 mgs 3 days ago so can't tell you how effective it's been on his levels yet but his side effects are kicking his butt at work. I have been taking Chantix for 4 days in a row and I feel horrible!!! how soon will this be out of my system?? ## Hello, Jodi! How are you doing? If you only took it for 4 days, it shouldn't take long for the side effects to wear off, a few days at most. What types of side effects did you experience? The most common ones are nausea, insomnia and abnormal dreams. ## It takes about 2 weeks for your system to acclimate to chantix. If you don't feel your side effects subsiding by then and you want to stop using it. You need to wean yourself off over a 2 weeks period. Or you will experience more side effects. I have hives from taking prednisone. My mouth also feels torn up, and some minor throat irritation. I was on the meds for 6 days. When will the hives dissapear, and other symptoms? Anyone have this experience? ## If you developed hives from taking it, there is a good chance that you had an allergic reaction to this medication, as reported by the FDA, and if that is the case, you will have to avoid taking it in the future, because such allergic reactions tend to get worse, with repeated exposure. A couple years ago, I discovered the hard way that I was allergic to the antibiotic Bactrim and it took several weeks for all of the symptoms to finally clear up.

how long do hydrocodone side effects last? I had gotten hurt by my horse and was in really bad pain, I took a hydrocodone I had left over from the year before when I had my wisdom teeth taken out.
