Can I cut a 5mg eliquis in half, instead of getting the 2.5mg ones? I need to reduce the dosage after a successful ablation. Please comment. If there's no score line then I would not recommend it. ## Eliquis does not come in a 10 mg. tablet, just 2.5 and 5 mg. 2nd Eliquis is not scored, 3rd Eliquis is not film coated, just a simple compressed tablet. Hi, first time I was prescribed a round pill identified as v4839 Percocet 5mg. Now I have v4829 .. Saying its 325.10mg. I need to know if I can break it in half. 10 mg is to strong. Also my pills are white and the picture coming up on the website is yellow.. I always double check my scripts to make sure it's correct . Do you know why the internet shows yellow and why mine is white? ## These tablets are a light yellow. That probably explains why it appears to be white to you. Sometimes going outside and looking at it in the sunllight can help you see the light yellow. 4829 v is 10 mg oxycodone and 325 mg Acetaminophen. This is generic for Percocet 10/325. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. You can cut it in half because it is immediate release.

half white pill oblong marked with a number 10 ## Hi Tami, Comparing several images, I have a good guess that it may be a white oblong pill marked with IP 110 on one side and scored on the other. If I'm seeing this correctly, when you split the tablet in half there would be one half with IP 1 and the other half would just have the number 10 on it. It's reported to be identified as a 10/325 generic Norco pill, made by Amneal Pharma. But maybe you could also look up the IP 110 imprint in order to help draw a conclusion on whether this is it or not?

It looks to be a slightly larger, oblong white pill, broken in half with only an imprint of the letter U showing ## Hi Shauna, From what I can tell, the closest thing I'm seeing as far as a possible match is concerned, is a white oblong shaped pill marked with "U 0 3" on one side and scored on the other. If this is the correct pill you'd probably also be able to see half of a "0" to the right of the "U". This one in particular is a generic Norco 10/325 tablet. I found a round white pill 104 on BOTTOM half, there is nothing on the back or the front. I can't find it anywhere on any Web site ## The legitimate white round pills I'm seeing all have the number 104 on the TOP half of a score line and are blank on the back. These generic Percocet 5/325mg tablets are reported to be approximately 11mm in size and are a product of Mylan Pharmaceuticals. They also carry a National Drug Code of 00378-7104. If yours appear any different, I'd suspect them to be counterfeits. However you can always contact Mylan just to be sure. I hope this helps!

Pill capsule blue and yellow marked sandoz 78-23 help ??? ## Hi Jake, The closest match I'm finding to your description is a blue and yellow capsule marked with "S F-C" on the blue half and the word "Sandoz" over "78-107" on the yellow half in red letters. It's reported to be Fiorinal w/ Codeine, containing 325mg of Aspirin + 50mg of Butalbital + 40mg of Caffeine + 30mg of Codeine; marketed for treating headaches. Since this bears a similar imprint to your pill, I'd be curious to know if yours could be the same type of medication. I have been taking Metformin XR 500 MG for about 2 years after having an issue with nausea with regular Metformin. In an effort to lower my reliance on meds I began cutting the 500 MG pill in half about 6 months ago and in the last 2 mos have had constant nausea and some diarrhea. Stopped Metformin about 6 weeks ago but still having same issues. Nausea level is about 3-5 on a scale of 1-10. It appears that I should not have split the pills in half. I am weening off this betablocker....can I cut the 25 Milligram tablet in half? ## Generally, if there is a score line on the pill, it is meant to be cut in half for these circumstances. Each tablet for oral administration contains either 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of Metoprolol. I haven't seen anything less than 25mg, but I don't see any reason personally why it wouldn't be ok to cut it in half and still take it as recommended by your doctor. ## Thx David...yes it does have a score line.
