Half A Pill And 10 Is All I Can See
100+ Topics FoundCan I cut a 5mg eliquis in half, instead of getting the 2.5mg ones? I need to reduce the dosage after a successful ablation. Please comment. Thanks! ## Can I split a 10 mg pill of Eliquis in half? ## Does the tablet have a score line? It appears that the Eliquis tablets are film coated according to what I see on DailyMed. If there's no score line then I would not recommend it. ## Eliquis does not come in a 10 mg. tablet, just 2.5 and 5 mg. 2nd Eliquis is not scored, 3rd Eliquis is not film coated, just a simple compressed tablet. The tablet is so small it would really be difficult to split evenly. ## What did your doctor tell you to do? If he/she told you to decrease your dosage, why can't they give you another Rx? I don't think Eliquis is a drug you can or should cut in hal...
Hi, first time I was prescribed a round pill identified as v4839 Percocet 5mg. Now I have v4829 .. Saying its 325.10mg. I need to know if I can break it in half. 10 mg is to strong. Also my pills are white and the picture coming up on the website is yellow.. I always double check my scripts to make sure it's correct . Do you know why the internet shows yellow and why mine is white? ## These tablets are a light yellow. That probably explains why it appears to be white to you. Sometimes going outside and looking at it in the sunllight can help you see the light yellow. 4829 v is 10 mg oxycodone and 325 mg Acetaminophen. This is generic for Percocet 10/325. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. You can cut it in half because it is immediate release.
half white pill oblong marked with a number 10 ## Hi Tami, Comparing several images, I have a good guess that it may be a white oblong pill marked with IP 110 on one side and scored on the other. If I'm seeing this correctly, when you split the tablet in half there would be one half with IP 1 and the other half would just have the number 10 on it. It's reported to be identified as a 10/325 generic Norco pill, made by Amneal Pharma. But maybe you could also look up the IP 110 imprint in order to help draw a conclusion on whether this is it or not?
Hi I was prescribed Vagifem 25 for vaginal dryness and could not tolerate it- heart betting, chest pain - I was now prescribed Vagifem 10. I am a little scared to try this one. Can I split it if half to see if I have any discomfort and maybe upgrade if everything goes well. ## Hi Josee I was prescribed Vagifem 25 and only used it for 3 days. Side effects were: heart pounding, headaches, leg pain, nausea, vertigo, dizziness, visual distubances and excessive vaginal discharge. That was a month ago and I am still unable to shake the nausea, vertigo and headaches. Perhaps there is no safe level for this drug! Be very careful. I would love to hear from others who continue to experience side-effects after stopping hormone therapy. ## Vagifem is an Estradiol (Estrogen) vaginal insert tablet, w...
no they want you to just do strips. that copay s*** is a prop to get youto switch to strips and go through doctors that accepr insurance. the 100 some you paid for the script is cheap man. don't get Molina insurance ## Would you then suggest paying cash out of pocket rather than working through any insurance company for that matter, not just Molina? This way you could simply bypass all the hassels of dealing with policies and go straight to getting what you truly need. Granted, not everyone has that kind of money to toss around. But in reality, many patients are also paying top dollar for their insurance companies each month in addition to their medication, only to be told that they can't use the one brand that was actually working for them anymore. It seems you either pay cash ...
It looks to be a slightly larger, oblong white pill, broken in half with only an imprint of the letter U showing ## Hi Shauna, From what I can tell, the closest thing I'm seeing as far as a possible match is concerned, is a white oblong shaped pill marked with "U 0 3" on one side and scored on the other. If this is the correct pill you'd probably also be able to see half of a "0" to the right of the "U". This one in particular is a generic Norco 10/325 tablet. However there are other white pills I'm seeing which have a "U" on one half of the tablet (being divided by a score line); whereas if you were to break it in half you'd only see a "U" and nothing else.... they are just oval shaped and not necessarily elongated AND oval so I w...
I found a round white pill 104 on BOTTOM half, there is nothing on the back or the front. I can't find it anywhere on any Web site ## The legitimate white round pills I'm seeing all have the number 104 on the TOP half of a score line and are blank on the back. These generic Percocet 5/325mg tablets are reported to be approximately 11mm in size and are a product of Mylan Pharmaceuticals. They also carry a National Drug Code of 00378-7104. If yours appear any different, I'd suspect them to be counterfeits. However you can always contact Mylan just to be sure. I hope this helps!
This pill i have found is broken in half and is maroon coloured oval shape and the half that i have has 0.5 written on it ## Hi Raky, The only pill I've found that "might" be it is a Canadian tablet (small pink oval) that contains 0.5mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, and is manufactured by NovoPharm. NOTE: Since you only have half of the pill, it may be impossible to find a 100% accurate match unless you take it to a pharmacy/lab. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Alprazolam Details I hope helps somehow! ## Not really sure why anyone would be all that interested in half a broken pill that they don't know what is, don't have a prescription for, don't know what it does or why anyone would take it in the first place... that they wou...
I just realized my painkillers are not scored down the middle, they are small yellow round tablets with an fancy V on one side and 230 on other. It it okay to break them? I've never seen these before. ## Hello, Dee Dee! How are you? That's actually meant to be an oriental C, it is logo used by Alvogen and yes, they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation, so they can be cut or broken, if your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
Pill capsule blue and yellow marked sandoz 78-23 help ??? ## Hi Jake, The closest match I'm finding to your description is a blue and yellow capsule marked with "S F-C" on the blue half and the word "Sandoz" over "78-107" on the yellow half in red letters. It's reported to be Fiorinal w/ Codeine, containing 325mg of Aspirin + 50mg of Butalbital + 40mg of Caffeine + 30mg of Codeine; marketed for treating headaches. Since this bears a similar imprint to your pill, I'd be curious to know if yours could be the same type of medication. One thought though would be to contact Sandoz directly to see if this is the case or not. Their customer service department for product inquiries can be reached at: 1 (800) 525-8747 I hope this helps!
My BP is ok but I'm so dizzy & it feels like there's pressure in my head. Can I cut the pill in half to see if that helps? ## Hello, Fran! How are you? I'm sorry that you're so dizzy. Yes, these tablets can be cut in half, as long as your doctor approves. The FDA lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, increased urination and dehydration. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm taking Losartan 100/12.5 and now my libido is gone. The feeling is no longer there and now I can't perform. I have tried some over the counter products but no success. What can I do? ## Hello E, Yes I'm having the same problem with Losartan 100/12.5 and libido. Doctor didn't have answers other than maybe blaming the diuretic, then he ...
small light pink pill 311and halfmoon like imprint on otherside ## Hello, Eli! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as containing 60mgs of Morphine in an extended release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes 60mg morphine and they are awesome ## I have a new generic morphine sulfate that is 60mgs. with no number. looks totally different than usual. want to make sure I am getting the right medication. ## I was taking 10mg methadone and now I take ms morphine it has 311 on one side and a half moon on the other they don't seem to work f...
I got a new blood pressure medication today. The pharmacy did not put child proof caps on my medicine like I have requested the last 6 years. Well, half of my Labetalol 100 mg spilled on the floor. All are accounted for except for one. I looked everywhere but could not find it. If my 10 yr old 16 pound minischnauzer finds and eats it, will it kill or harm her? (Note: my dog eats pills like they are treats.) ## I see this was posted a few months ago, so I hope all is well and your dog didn't get ill. For future reference, however, if you have a question about an animal, please contact your veterinarian. Our website and my own knowledge are specialized in information on the use of medications and their effects on humans. We have no information on how they may effect animals. Did your ...
How long does it take for pax 10 mg to be metabolized? ## How do I get back to 20mg of pax 10 a day? I've been on it for 2 years and some days my anxiety is so bad I take up to 10 tablets. I take epilum 1000 mg a day. 30 mg mirtazipine a day too. All for manic deppression and anxiety and past siezures.
Ok so i was recently prescribed this new equivalent to my previous prescription for watson. The scoring on this new pill is a333 and it seems to work well but my stomach cant handle the cramping. My pcp is going to write for me a new prescription for something different but until then im stuck with these cheap nockoffs. Can i cut these pills in half to minimize the stomach cramping? ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Yes, as long as your doctor approves, you can cut these in half, they are regular release tablets that contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, according to the prescription drug databases. The FDA lists this mediation as possibly being habit forming and states that it is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects,...
I have been taking Metformin XR 500 MG for about 2 years after having an issue with nausea with regular Metformin. In an effort to lower my reliance on meds I began cutting the 500 MG pill in half about 6 months ago and in the last 2 mos have had constant nausea and some diarrhea. Stopped Metformin about 6 weeks ago but still having same issues. Nausea level is about 3-5 on a scale of 1-10. It appears that I should not have split the pills in half. My stomach “growls” constantly and I plan to see a gastroenterologist. I am tired regularly and no longer exercising. ## The ER designates it as being a time released formulation, so no, it should not be cut, or broken, as that could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once. The nausea and diarrhea can be typical side ...
I am weening off this betablocker....can I cut the 25 Milligram tablet in half? ## Generally, if there is a score line on the pill, it is meant to be cut in half for these circumstances. Each tablet for oral administration contains either 25 mg, 50 mg or 100 mg of Metoprolol. I haven't seen anything less than 25mg, but I don't see any reason personally why it wouldn't be ok to cut it in half and still take it as recommended by your doctor. ## Thx David...yes it does have a score line.
Hi. I've been taking Estradiol 10mg internally twice a week for three and half months now. It's helped with vaginal dryness and feeling a bit down and night sweats, but at the same time I had three blood tests done for my hormone levels at three different times. I'm on my cycle and they all came back as normal, but still I felt better taking this. However, in the last 6 weeks I've been having horrific anaphylactic reactions to foods I would normally eat and have found out that I'm allergic to most things like wheat, yeast, beef, diary and eggs and peanuts! Which I've always eaten without issues, I'm taking three priritize a day and waiting to be seen at Cambridge allergy hospital in October. I'm also suffering from a swollen throat, like raised glands and...
Filed under EstradiolIts half of a pill and all I see is E2 and its shaped like a football and mustered colored ## My mom found it in the bag of one of my nephews and wants to know what it is ## Hi, Sam! How are you? If the E2 is the start of the imprint and there is no space between them, then it looks like it could be a 100mg Doxycycline tablet. I can't be sure, without knowing the full imprint, but that's the only one I found that matches as I've described. It is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections and it can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more Doxycycline details here. Can you please post back and let me know if there is or isn't a space between the E and the 2? Thanks!
Is it ok to cut the Vytorin 10/80 pill (marked 315) in half? I would like to try half the dosage for two months and then see what my corresponding blood lab reading show insofar as potential changes in my cholesterol levels. Is it ok to cut this Vytorin 10/80 pill (marked 315) in half? ## Hello, GaryH! How are you? This isn't a time released tablet, so unless the pharmacy or your doctor has instructed you not to do so, it isn't a problem. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches. Is there anything else I can help with?
