My partner bashed me in the head and started the onset of complex partial seisures. I have tried Tegretol, Epelim & Topamax but all cause hair loss. I have stopped taking all medications for now and would like to find a drug that stops hair loss. My hair has started to grow back after stopping all drugs 8 months ago. ## If it has finally started growing back, then it may just be best to let it do it naturally, without medication interference. However, one that is used to increase hair growth is Spironolactone, it is used to treat many medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, as a diuretic, to replace potassium and etc. Hair growth is one of its side effects. You can learn more about it here: I've been taking the lowest dose available, for my blood pressure and low potass...

In my blood Luteinizing Hormone got increased upto 21%By which am getting unwanted hair on my chin area, weight is increasing, even menopause got disturbed I tried many treatments but no use. so please if there is any solution in nutrilite pls suggest me. ## Nutrilite is a nutritional supplement, so it's going to help if your problem has been caused by a deficiency in one of the vital nutrients it contains. What all have they had you try for it? What else has your doctor suggested? There are some medications and hormonal supplements that may help, but they are kind of 50-50 at their effectiveness and many of them carry the risk of making the problem worse.

Recently I visited a Dermatologist as the hair loss/thinning and she has prescribed me tugain 10% along with androanagen and follihair tablets. She has also asked me to get blood tests done. I had B12 deficiency for which she has given me nurokind plus plus (syringe once in a week for 4 weeks). I will be starting my monthly injections this week. Did my 5 weeks than waited the month. The last week and a half I have been cleaning my brush out daily (full of hair). My scalp plaques are all but gone just like a light dandruff so I'm thinking that it's more likely to be from the Cosentyx rather than clogged hair follicles. Has anyone else had this happen? Otherwise my skin has been clearing amazingly ## Yes, it has been known to cause hair loss, in some people that take it, in aftermarket reports, according to the FDA. You are definitely not the first person to notice such an issue while taking it. Other side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, infections, and an increase in the outbreaks of cold sores. I have been taking diltiazem for at least 10yrs to control migraine headaches. I am 62 and am noticing thinning hair. Seems to have happened overnight. The FDA does list hair loss as being among the possible side effects of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination. And yes, it usually does reverse itself, once you stop taking it. However, please do not stop it abruptly, unless your doctor tells you to do so, a sudden cessation creates the risk of dangerously elevated blood pressure and heart rate. Have been on 50 mg Flecainide twice daily and 125 mcg Digoxin once daily for one year due to sporadic episodes of tachycardia and one incident of Afib that landed me in the hospital. My rhythm adjusted itself after 12 hours. I noticed an increase in hair loss a month or two after I started taking it. I thought it was due to stress levels several months previously because I had experienced hair loss in the past due to stress. That subsided and the hair would grow back but not entirely. However, it has been continually falling out an alarmingly steady pace since. I have seen my dermatologist who said everything seemed normal and to try rogaine. I just had bloodwork for several issues to see if this mystery can be solved and have not gotten the results. It dawned on me that the time frame ...

I have been taking clopidogrel 75 for circulation for nearly four years now and my hair is so thin It won’t cover my scalp properly, the loss has speeded up in the last six months and I would like to know if you think it will stop before I loose it all (which won’t be long) or is there anything else you can suggest, thank you. ## That is not a common side effect, as listed by the FDA. They are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. There is really no way to be sure how any given medication will affect anyone that takes it, though. Are you on any other medications? How old are you? Have you consulted your doctor? Hello, I've been on ramipril for approx 18 years. First 5 mg, then 10 mg; 5 in the a.m. & 5 in the p.m. (When they switched me to generic, 5 mg once a day was just not enough.) For the past few years, I've had a tickling cough at night, so I usually take a cough drop at bedtime so it doesn't wake me up as I doze off to sleep. Do you think this is caused by the Ramipril? Also, can ramipril cause hair loss? ## Are you on any other medications? As to your questions, yes the U.S. FDA warns that it has been known to cause both issues as side effects, in some people that take it. You may also experience dizziness, headache, increased urination, and orthostatic hypotension. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to try a different medication.
