I am a diabetic patient taking Glycomat trio 2 mg morning and evening before meals, i would like to know any supplement need to take with this to avoid side effect. Please advice. Kumar ## Hi, Kumar! I am a type 2 diabetes, I am taking glycomet trio 2 for the past two years, it very good. My hba1c is always between 6 and 7. Along with glycomet trio 2 I am also taking Istamet 50/500, these two combinations is very good effective. Request your doctor to suggest Glycomet trio 2 and Istamet 50/500, but the glycomet trio 2 is not available in all medical stores, only at apollo pharamacy i am able to get it.

I am diabetic type 2 for the past 16 years & also hypertension medication I am taking Glycomet Trio 2 before breakfast & Galvus Met 50/ 1000 mg before dinner . While my Post lunch sugar levels are by & large within normal range for my age ( 84 years) my fasting sugar levels are always beyond normal range ( 130/137) Do I need to change the before dinner medication ( Galvus Met 1000/50)

I would like to know whether I can take METFORMIN 1000MG, GLIMEPERIDE 2MG and VOGLIBOSE 0.2mg separately, because it will work out cheaper by almost 60% instead of the combination. (RS150-90). ## It should be okay to do so, as long as the dosages are the same, but it is always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. I take 1 tab in the morning and 1 at dinner, but from the last 4 months my sugar level (fbs) has been 90 ppbs, 105 to 110. Do I still take the medicine? My hba1c is 6. ## You should continue it for as long as your doctor tells you to continue the medication. There's a chance of your sugar level raising to dangerous levels, if you stop the medications, according the NIH. My insulin is on the higher side but my Doctor prescribed me Glycomet 1gm two tablets per day. My body is fat & a few years ago an ultrasound report had shown a fatty liver. With your medical issues, it would be remiss of anyone online to try to suggest a medication for you to use for weight loss, as there are many which would just worsen your problems, especially the condition of your liver. The best thing you can do would be to just follow a health, low-fat and low sugar diet and get plenty of proper exercise.

My sister in law took the same treatment for PCOS. She stopped it after getting pregnant. Now she is facing pregnant sugar in later stage of pregnancy. So keep continuing. My doctor advised me to take GLYCOMET 1gm in the evening and Diamicron MR 30 in the morning. My fasting is around 130 and PP is around 160. My Mother is of 74years and she is diabetic and was prescribed for Glycomat GP-1 twice a day and in the last month doctor has advice to take Glycomat GP-2 twice a day as her Fasting is 158 and after meal its 275. please advice how to control this level and what diet she should take. Dr.,My Mom (aged 78yrs) is a diabetic patient since 20 yrs. She takes Glycigon-M after food and Glycomet before food. Total 13 medicines per day.
