What are the differences in Glycomet GP1 Forte and Glycomet GP2 Forte? ## They both contain Metformin and Glimepiride, however, the difference is in the dosage of the Glimepiride in them. Aside from the 500mgs of Metformin, the GP1 contains 1mg of the Glimepiride and the GP2 contains 2mgs of it. Ihad been taking Pioz 15 with Wallaphage 850 on the advise of my doctor for last 8 years after dinner ;but when I found my fasting level at 160 and PP level at 270. I consulted another doctor who only advised me to take Glycomet-GP 2 Forte before breakfast and stop Pioz and Wallaphage Suddenly during noon and evening I feel very nauseous and gulp down food at hand to avoid the nausea.This may not be helping me reduce my diabetic levels..please advise ## What is the Diffrence between glycomet gp1 and gp2 forte?

My blood sugar level was f174 and pp357. I am taking glycomet gp2 forte before lunch for a year with triomega before bedtime. Now the test shows f 114 and pp 245. I am feeling burning sensation beneath the fingers of my left foot. Am I taking the right medicine ? I have been taking Glycomet Gp2 Forte 1 pill a day for more than one year. I've been maintaining my diet but my sugar level is not going down below 350. if a diabetic person taking glycomet gp2 forte before dinner observe metformin part come out with stool in the morning what conclusion may be drwan about absorption of the medicine in the body.pl guide. ## The Metformin is actually slowly released into your body, to give better blood sugar control for a longer period of time. Basically what you saw in your stool was just the outer shell of the pill, but the medication was still released into your body, just as it should be. The entire tablet isn't meant to be dissolved and broken down, so seeing it in your stool is perfectly normal. Is there anything else I can help with?
