Can I use Gelmicin on fresh road rash wounds? It contains a mixture of betametasona, clotrimazol, gentamicina. I fell off a motorcycle and have bad road rash. I'm not sure if a topical cream would do much to help, but you could check with your doctor to see what they think. There is a steroid in Gelmicin, as well as an antibiotic and antifungal, so it could cause her some serious side effects, such as those listed by the FDA like weight gain, acne and skin rash.

Has this been confirmed by a doctor? I'd not recommend using this cream, without your doctor's approval, because one of the ingredients is a steroid, which may make some conditions worse.
