Flotral is a foreign brand name for Alfuzosin, it is used to treat urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate or BPH. Side effects may include asura, headache, ED and priapism. How have you been instructed to take it by your doctor? If they advised you to take it with dinner, then you should do that.

I am affacted by CA prostate. IGRT done 9months back,on hormon theropy. uncontrol uranating problem with low stream last three months on Flotral tablets, problelm subsided to some extent but feeling much weak there after..If taking tablet is ommited in a night, next day lazyness disapear. should i continue ? ## Hello, Based on my research, the medication Flotral contains the active ingredient Alfuzosin. The most common side effects of Alfuzosin are dizziness (due to postural hypotension), upper respiratory tract infection, headache, and fatigue. I am having difficulty completely emptying my bladder. My ultrasound report indicates insufficient residue. My PSA level is 5.24 ng/ml and my prostate weight is 35.1 grams. I've been advised to take Flotral D once daily for up to a month. Is this the right medication? How long will I have to continue this treatment?

I used Urimax f for six years. Five months back doctor changed my meficine to Flotral D instead of Urimax. Chemist giving me Afdura as substitute of Flotral D. Please advise if Flotral D and Afdura are same and what are their side effects. Secondly can I comtimue Afdura or Flotral D for a long period since before this I took Urimax for six years. I am using Flotral D for the last five years. It is very effective for my prostate growth problems. But now I am experiencing back pain and pain over joints. Now as advised by a doctor I checked the Vitamin -D level. It is too low as 9.6ng/mL against the required level of above 30ng/mL. whether the use of flotral -D has any role in this

I used to urinate frequently in the night. With this complaint I went to a urologist. That time retention of urine in the bladder (Ultrasound scanning) was found to be around 40cc. Then I was prescribed Dynosper(Tamsulosin 0.4mg). Used it for about 4 months. I did not have any problem. Meanwhile I found that if I stop taking water around 2 hrs before going to bed, the problem of frequent urination stopped. Then I discontinued the tablet. I did not feel it as a problem. Two months ago, approached urologist with the complaint of frequent urination in the day time. Not able to empty the bladder at a stretch etc.. Then my urine flow was analyzed. I often have a difficulty in urinating due to my condition of MS. My doctor said that even though I do not have an enlarged prostate, I can take Flotral 10mg to ease the flow of urine. Can this work for MS patients having difficulty in starting the flow of urine?

I have undergone DJ stenting for Kidney stones about 20 days ago, i am 59 years old. I was adviced to take 1 100mg Tab of NIFTRAN everyday in the morning. I am normally fit and healthy. After Six months i complained that my sexual life was completely disturbed. Doctor stopped Dutas & started Flotral tab once a day. from last 13 months i am using flotral.
