What if any side affects does ferro-tab 200 mg have. thankyou ## From what I could gather, Ferro-tab is an iron supplement for those who may be low in iron or anemic. The only side effects I've found on this supplement is that it may cause nausea, stomach upset, dark stools, and possibly constipation. Hi, I'm 17 years old and I'm taking 1 tablet of Ferrous Sulfate once a day. But I'm also taking 1 1/2 tablets of Predisone twice a day and along with multiple other dosages of other medicines. Could this be the reason for the churning sick feeling in my stomach? ## I think it largely depends on what all the other medications are that you might be taking with it. Just about all prescription drugs can cause these types of side effects. Based on my research, Ferrous Sulfate does list "constipation" and "stomach upset" as side effects. I take 30 mg of Prevacid , 10 mg Lipitor , 10 mg Cipralex at bed time. Supper time I take Ferrous Gluconate 300 mg.
