Drug Fact And Comparison
13 Topics FoundCompared to adderall 90mg a day what is a comparable dose? I need this for my uninformed Doctor. ## Finding a comparable dose with any two medications would likely involve at least some degree of trial and error in order to make an informed decision. A "comparable" dose is also subject to one's opinion and not necessarily evidence-based factors, due to the fact that these medications are not created equally. Individual body chemistry, tolerance, metabolism, age, weight, etc, can all influence this opinion as well. Zenzedi reportedly contains dextroamphetamine sulfate, whilst Adderall contains amphetamine + dextroamphetamine (Mixed Salts). Not to mention the different sets of binders and fillers that may affect bioavailability. With this in mind, maybe it would be best to see...
I was taking Windamet tablets for diabetese which seems to have been withdrawn by the company. Now the Doctor has advised PIO M 15 tablets in its place. Can someone inform which tablet is better? ## Windamet contains Rosiglitazone and Metformin. The Rosiglitazone has been banned, due to the fact that is can cause sever cardiac problems. So, any medication that contains it has been removed from the market. PIO M 15 contains Metformin and Pioglitazone, which is in the same class of medications, but has not been proven to cause the same dangers. There isn't any one med that can be said to be better for any one person, than any other. You really just have to try it and see how it works for you. Are there any comments or questions? ## PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION OF WINDAM...
which helps more watson hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 compared to qualtest hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325??? ## To me the Watson is so much better the other I believe is a generic as they come I may be wrong but many other people agree with me! ## Watson! Qualitest was okay but Watso was always best for me.. Dr Reddy gave me bad effects, I won't touch that brand. ## Something to take into considering when making these kinds of comparisons is that each individual is prone to respond differently (due to many potential factors... such as body chemistry, age, weight, tolerance, metabolism, to name a few). So even if we had 1000 reviews in favor of Watson to go off of, this still only accounts a small percentage of patients out of millions perhaps who may or may not necessarily feel t...
I NEED TO FIND PICS OF 5MG ADDERRAL AND 1MG XANAX THEY ARE BOTH ROXAL BLUE N ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL IN SIZE SHAPE AND COLOR. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THESE PICS? ## Hi summertime, I cannot post a picture due to copyright reasons, however, if you were to type in "Adderall 5mg" into google images, I think you might find an image you're looking for. I also think it would help the search if you could provide the imprint on the pill itself. I could then look it up under a number of drug databases to be sure that it is in fact the right pill you see in google images. Unfortunately since I don't know the imprint on either pill I cannot distinguish the differences between my image results on Xanax in comparison to the image results for Adderall. Also, if you could please c...
It is generic Viagra 75 VAR800 USA Orange India nd EU Generic. They are fine used them couple of years. Have a few of the Brand Identical ## Left out one important fact. I paid $2.75 a tablet. Not $45.00 a tablet Brand. Bought 200 last years obviously still have many left. ## Hey David, thanks for the heads up on the pill identification. For verification of your findings, do you happen to know which drug company it is who manufacturers these in India? Often times when it comes to identifying foreign tablets there aren't very many pages that offer validation over the internet. So it's helpful to have that additional information in order for other readers to cross reference what was mentioned. I appreciate any feedback you might have on its efficacy as well in comparison to US bra...
In the 1980's a Dr. gave me a green pill that made my tongue numb, if I left it there. Imagine what it does to the brain. Can you tell me its name? ## Hello, Hammer! How are you? Actually, that's not a valid comparison, because there are many medications that may cause irritation to the mouth, esophagus, stomach and various other organs, but are still beneficial in the body. Thus, the fact that it made your tongue numb doesn't necessarily mean that it did anything untoward to your brain, or any other internal part of your body. Now, moving on… that's not much of a description to go on, there are have been many green pills on the market, some that are still available and some that have been discontinued. Do you remember any other details about it? Anything else you ...
Can it be dangerous to take Invega Sustenna? Are the risks worth the benefits of this medication? ## as far as I know, 4.5% in comparison to 2.6 % on placebo died, but not sure if those were only elderly patients or not. when I asked about weight gain, lots of medicines said taht weight gain is 10 %, unfortunately I have always been in those 10%. So now the risk is 5%, according to my experience the risk to die would be 50/50 then, that is in fact a high risk and I would prefer 5% 5/100, but I have a hard time believing in the statistics given my experiences. I would in any case check all the safety measures before: take risperdal max. dosage and invega max. dosage (not together, one after the other or just the one that you yet didn't have) and see how you react to this before you t...
whit oblong pill with l151 on it ## I can't find this listed in any of my resources, however, I can tell you that pills marked with an L followed by additional numbers are over the counter products. This company makes the generic/store brand version of many different items. Is anyone else familiar with this? ## I'm a pharmacist at a hospital and was asked to identify this as well. After finding nothing in Micromedex, Clinical pharmacology, Lexicomp and Facts and Comparison. I googled it and found out that it is "GOOD SENSE NIGHTTIME SLEEP AID (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) tablet 25 mg"
I get gout. Whats better for keeping it down, naproxen 500mg or indomethacin 50mg? Also how much % of antinflamatory is in the naproxen 500mg? ## Because both of these medications are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), their effectiveness is going to depend upon a comparable dosage to one-another as well as the way your body responds to each medication. Personally, I would look into natural remedies (such as essential oils) as a treatment option, simply due to the fact that there are little or no side effects in comparison to pharmaceutical drugs. As to how much % of anti-inflamatory is in the Naproxen, I don't have an answer to that. Have you tried either of those medications yet to see how well each one helps?
Just wondering if these oval white pills with rp on one side and 15 on the other are considered roxys. I don't think they are because they aren't instant release but figured I would ask... ## Hello, Mel! How are you? These are a generic for Roxicodone, because they are regular release tablets, not instant. They start working about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. The instant release Oxycodone is only available in a 5mg capsule, the name brand for it is OxyIR. I know everyone calls the others instant release, but that's mainly due to the fact that you get the full dose at once, in comparison to the time released Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, di...
Is the vitamin (NDC# 44946-1045-01) Pnv Prenatal 27-1 Mg the same as (NDC# 69543-0258-10) Preplus 27-1 Mg? ## Unfortunately I haven't been able to locate any information on the second NDC # that was provided. However, the first National Drug Code of 44946-1045 is in fact associated with Pnv Prenatal Plus Multivitamins... If it's of any help though, the NDC of 76439-258 just so happens to be another National Drug Code associated with Preplus 27-1. When you click on the highlighted NDC links (above) it will direct you to a page with more specific details for that particular supplement/medication. Upon doing so, you'll be able to see that both the active & inactive ingredients are conveniently listed for comparison. Hope this helps!
is 50mg tramadol as effective as 10mg methadone ## best tramadol ## @mark, According to a double-blind clinical trial, Tramadol was reported to be more efficacious in managing the symptoms of opioid withdrawal (and with fewer side effects) than Methadone. This study is based on a 450 mg/day dose of Tramadol in comparison to a 15mg/day dose of Methadone. So if you ask me, my thoughts are that 50mgs of Tramadol wouldn't have results that are as significant as what was displayed in the clinical trials, since that would only amount to 200-300mgs a day (when taken every 4-6 hours) as opposed to 450mg/day. Results will probably also depend on each individuals tolerance to pain meds as well as body chemistry and several other underlying factors. I'd encourage you to talk with your doct...
My husband took 30 mg of oxycodone. Is that the same as a oxycodone 5-325mg or will it come out different in a urine test? Will that be a problem for his pain management? ## Hi I'm wondering if it was the same or not. What was the outcome? ## Oxycodone 30s and oxycodone 5 325 test the same. Either test as opiate or oxycodone on a more detailed test. Just stronger milagram without the cut in it. ## No and yes. Yes percocet and oxycodone are the same thing. Exact same thing!!!! Not sure name brand "Percocet" exists anymore but oxycodone is today's percocet. No on the milligram comparison. A 30mg is 30mg. When you see 5/325, the 1st number is the mg of oxycodone. 2nd number is 325mg of Acetaminophen (tylenol). These are facts!!! Been on the stuff for over 20yrs. I have a ba...
