Dr In Grand Rapids Mi

Looking for a Dr in Grand Rapids that isn't a closed minded neanderthal. I've been to 2 different docs in the past 4 months. I was quite active growing up and as a result suffered quite a few injuries. Between sports, military, and work life, my 38 year old body feels like its 70. Chronic fatigue, back pain, sharp pains going down legs is a daily torment. The first doc I saw put me on Cymbalta for three months to no effect. He then diagnosed poison ivy as a viral infection (really?) Needless to say I didn't remain with him. And the second he told me after one visit, that fibromyalgia doesn't exist (mother, father, and sister are all diagnosed with it by the way). I am a severe and chronic pain patient on my way towards a fibromyalgia diagnosis. I just moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and have priority health/medicaid. Do any of you know a good Doctor whos not shy about prescribing opiates??? I'm tired of being labeled a drug seeker when the drugs i seek ACTUALLY WORK. I don't feel high off them, I'm not a junkie, I just NEED to manage my pain levels because they get debilitating. I've great results historically with low level dose methadone (5mg 3x's daily) with norco (10/325mg, 4 x's daily for breakthrough). In otherwords I'm not looking to be a strung out zombie, I just want enough to take the edge off so i can function. I moved to Grand Haven, Michigan almost a year ago. I have been on pain medicine for over 4 years due to rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lupus. I have been traveling back to southern Indiana to see my doctor so I could continue my pain management treatment. I am trying to find a doctor around Grand Haven, Grand Rapids Michigan who is willing to treat chronic pain using pain medication. I am currently on 2 10 mg Vicodin 3 times a day.
