I am taking hydroco/acetamin and cymbalta and I had a drug test show positive for methamphetamine. I don't do methamphetamine. Will this cause this? ## I am taking oxycodone, oxymorphone and cymbalta and the Dr. asked me if I had been taking any benzo's. So Cymbalta shows up as a benzo.

May 20-26 I was in the hospital taking Ambien, ativan and cymbalta. Once I left the hospital I took my ambien sparingly. The ativan even less and no cymbalta at all. However on June 16 I took 1/2 10MG of Ambien. I had a saliva drug test that next morning and it came back as THC, Amphedimines and opiates. How did this happen?? ## Ambien contains the active ingredient Zolpidem and neither it nor the Cymbalta, which contains Duloxetine, are substances tested for on those types of tests and they are also not known to cause false positives for anything else. Does cymbalta show up dirty on a urine drug test? I am in a methadone clinic. ## We are going threw the same thing right now.... husband is on methadone and has been clean for 11 yrs and has been pissing dirty for the last month and a half and the methadone dr cant understand what is happening. Now hes lost all 6 carries. ## I am going through the same thing right now. will cymbalta show positive on a DOA=7, panel 6 urine test? ## Cymbalta contains Duloxetine, it is an SNRI antidepressant, so theoretically, no it shouldn't show up on drug testing, because these are not substances that are including in the testing. However, some other medications in this same class have been shown to cause false positives on some drug tests for substances such as LSD and Amphetamines. If you have a prescription for it, you should also inform them of that, when you go in for the test. Are there any other questions or comments?

my girlfriend is in a treatment facility and is prescribed methadone and gabapentin. I had to take a saliva test the other day and am taking oxicodone xanax Nexium benicar valcor cymbalta and atorvastatin synthroid humalog lantus and a Bayer asprine. When I went back I fentanyl showed up as well 1 ng. So they cut me off right there from the top 3 medications and I wasn't even sure what fentanyl was. Many years on and off I have tested positive for benzos and am labeled forever a drug addict even though anything I've taken has always been prescribed, clonidine, seroquel, olanzapine cymbalta, trazodone, and norcos are all I've ever taken and just recently clonazepam which does not show up in tests. A friend of mine had been clean and sober for six years recently failed a drug test for benzos and all he had taken is clonidine. I don't drink or do drugs. Norcos, benadryl and clonazepam are all I've taken in 3 years and the benzos are not showing up now. Could anyone else have had this happen? With this drug only during the times I've taken it I came up positive. I tossed the drug.

Can any of these show up as a false positive for cocaine? I was in a criminal facility and had to take a urine test to visit. I came up positive for cocaine but I am not a cocaine user. I offered to go to another location. They denied my request. They will not let me visit this person until their time is done. I'm really upset. I'm prescribed several medications. Cymbalta 60mg, Adderall 15mg xr to take in the morning, Adderall 20mg to take at 3:00pm, Lisinopril 40mg, Prilosec 20mg, Zyrtec 10mg, and Flexeril 30mg.
