I've been prescribed 10mg Adderral twice a day for adult ADD/ADHD. This is the 1st time I've ever taken any kind of medication like this. When I take my 1st does, 9am, I feel like I just chugged a cup of coffee. I feel wired and almost unable to focus at all because I'm too hyper. It subsides in about an hour and I can feel the medication wearing off some. I take my 2nd dose around noon or 1am. Again, it gets me a little wired but wears off some later... My questions are: 1. I have a morphine infusion pump that releases 21.474 mg daily continuous flow plus I can give myself a bolus of 1.50 mg up to 10 x a day making my daily level release of morphine 35.886/day continuous flow. I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was 9 yr old (24 now). I took concerta from then until i was a freshmen in high school and stopped myself. In college, as school became harder, i started again. I was prescribed adderall tablets by my doctor, and I have been taking that until September 2014. So for about 4 years off and on, which it was off and on because of appointment scheduling and insurance reasons. Does anyone know which generic manufacturer CVS commonly has in stock for both IR and XR Adderall (Amphetamine Salts)? I know they used to carry Mylan for the IR and it's awful. They also used to carry Actavis for the XR which is also terrible, but I don't have many pharmacy choices with my insurance.. and I'm nervous that I'm going to get stuck with Actavis/Mylan... if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it. Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Also, you can't expect them to not ask any questions, because that is essentially part of their job in making sure they give you the right medication and aren't just handing it over to someone who only wants to abuse it. I am not sure what to do. My 12 year old son takes adderal once a day for his ADHD for many years now. 2 years ago moved here and the clinic he goes to the office staff is very rude. So i went to another doc. but they will not see him till his records are transferred. As soon as the doc. got the transfer request they called and cancelled his appointment with no explanation.
