How do you know if you need to be prescribed adderrol? I am 47 yrs old I have a hard time staying focused and lose track of time due to being sidetracked.

Only a doctor can evaluate you and your symptoms, to see if you have ADHD and need to be medicated to rectify the situation.

The best doctor to consult is a psychiatrist, your PCP should be able to refer you to one.

Adderall requires a prescription. The FDA classifies it as a stimulant that carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and weight loss.

Not everyone with such symptoms requires medications, behavioral therapies do help some people.
