The Dr prescribed my mom codorol to treat her diarrhoea....is this right? As far as I know it could cause constipation and nausea....but in general it treats pain. ## Hello, Des! How is your mom? This medication is listed as containing Paracetamol and Codeine, so the FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth, in addition to those you've already mentioned. If the doctor felt this would be the best thing to help, then she should try it. What has caused her diarrhea?
Have just had colonoscopy and endoscopy for severe disorders. No results yet from biopsies taken. Calvepen666 is causing diarrhoea and pain. At a loss as to why prescribed. Are there not more appropriate antibiotics for sensitive stomachs.? ## Hello, Vera! How are you? Unfortunately no, diarrhea and stomach pain can be side effects of all antibiotics, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience dizziness and headache. All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, it is just the nature of adding a chemical to the body to correct or prevent a possible problem. Is there anything else I can help with?
I already have diarrhea dur to previous c diificile infection . My doctor has prescribed microbid which I not very keen o take. Since I feel it will worsen my situation. What should I do? ## Hello, Jam! How are you? Diarrhea can be a side effect of antibiotics, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash, as listed by the FDA. However, C. Difficile can be deadly, if you let it continue untreated. Your doctor would not have prescribed it, if they though there was a dangerous risk to you. How long will you be taking it?

Filed under AlbendazoleSide effects of Metadoze.IPR tablet for diabetic ## Common side effects associated with this medication can include: stomach discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, wind (gas), indigestion or diarrhoea. These side effects are noted to be expected and are said to pass with time. Taking Metadoze-IPR with food will help reduce any stomach discomfort. Also, you may experience an unusual taste in the mouth while you are on this medication. If you are taking the extended-release type of Metadoze-IPR, you may see a small tablet-shaped casing in your bowel movements. This is noted to be normal, and you shouldn't be alarmed. This casing is just an empty shell; the medicine inside it has already been absorbed by your body. Hope this information helps!
What Is The Side Effects Of This Medication & Can I Take In Place Of Casodex ## Hello Dave Hughes, Some side effects of Casodex may include but are not limited to the following: reproductive system and breast disorders, breast tenderness, gynaecomastia, hot flushes, gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhoea, nausea, hepatic changes (elevated levels of transaminases, jaundice), asthenia and pruritus. To answer your next question; if you're talking about Bicalutamide, the active ingredient in Casodex, then yes you could take it instead if you want. However, it would most likely be the generic version. I can't remember if I told you this in my last reply, but the FDA permits generic formulas to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with...

Both of these medications contain Morphine, they are just different name brands for it. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. They also carry the risk of being habit forming. Diarrhea is very unusual. Are you on any other medications? Has anything else changed recently, such as your diet or exercise regimen?

Could I give my child Scopex 10mg (1 tablet) for cramps? She is 3 years old. ## You should definitely run this by their pediatrician, but likely not. The active ingredient in this medication is Hyoscine, also known as Scopolamine. It also says "Use with caution in children, geriatric patients, patients with diarrhoea, fever, and in conditions characterised by tachycardia". Source ## Hello, Lee! How is your daughter?
