Deriphyllin Is Used For Cough

I'm suffering from sinus and get sneezes continuously, cough, watery eyes and get irritation in throat and upper palette. One of my family members insisted me to take deriphyllin 150. Is that possible. Im allergic to smoke, some kinds of fruit (guava,etc). I even get itching sensation in chest region and even below the neck. What is this disease called usually (Rhinitis or sinus ) Pls let me know ## I am sufering sinus and get sneezes continuosly

My wife is suffering on & off from cough & coriza. Can hear wistle during sleep. Dr has advised for Tab Deriphyllin 300 , OD / TD, depending upon SOS but it has become almost regular requirement. My question is a) whether it is safe drum for long treatment. b) what are side effects c) what r normal dozes ?

What is the difference between the Deriphyllin od 300 & Deriphyllin retard 150? ## Hello, Laksmi! How are you? From what I can find, the only difference is the dosage, otherwise they are both just different brand names for Theophylline, which is used to treat asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory disorders. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am suffering from on and off cough . Hi friends, I have been suffering from severe cough and bronchitis from the past many days. I have been to a doctor and he has prescribed deriphyllin and after using it for many days also I find no cure at all so far. I find it very hard sleeping in the night. I am geeta, age 29. I find it so tough to sleep in the night time hard for me to breathe properly due to bronchitis. Please help me suggest a good medicine, a pill or a syrup. I like taking syrups. I am having a chronic cough, it comes from my chest maybe my lungs, it is like this that whenever I try to take breath hard I used to cough, in normal circumstances also as irritation comes from my chest I used to cough It created a problem especially at public places as it is shameful for me. I used to consult doctors but very difficult to be healed. What medicine shall I take and the doses. ## use deriphylline wth bromhexine tab wth dexamathasone ## this site does not provide any medications or treatments, this is an information only website. iam from Andhra. I have severe cough since one month. I went to general physician and he prescribed me deriphyllin tabs once a day. next day morning I am getting severe dizziness & my hands get started shivering. is this because using deriphyllin?

I have breathing problems and dry cough only. In Aizawl Mizoram. Please tell me what I can do? My doctor prescribed deriphyllin retard 300. This problem has only persisted for 1 year.
