Daily Alcohol Side Effect
43 Topics FoundI would just like to know can these be takeing together? one cilift and one obesan x cause on Friday night I was really sick and I only drank one cider? Could it have been the cider with the tablets or was it the 2 tablets takeing together. ## Hello, Sonja! How are you? I don't know about the Obesan-X, since it's not an actual medication. However, you really shouldn't drink while taking the Cilift, it contains Citalopram and taking it with alcohol could definitely have made you sick, because that will worsen the side effects from it. You may also experience more severe dizziness and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am a 64 year old male living in Spain & have been taking Sintrom on its own for about a week. I was previously taking 150mg of Heparin by injection daily + varing amounts of Sintrom. Whilst I understand and fully appreciate what the Dr.'s are doing for me,they say just 1 beer a day is permitable, that could present a problem when the temperature's touch the mid thirties, so what exactly is the effect of alcohol with Sintrom? ## mixing brandy with sintrom 4mg ## dringking brandy whilst ntaking sintrom 4mg ## Sintrom contains the active ingredient Warfarin, it is a blood thinner. They reason they warn against using this with alcohol is because alcohol also acts as a blood thinner, so it can severely increase your risk of bleeding. In addition, excessive amounts of alcohol ca...
can alcoholics be given restyl during sober periods and what could be the effects if such a person is having a higher BP reading? ## Restyl contains the active ingredient Alprazolam and most doctors will not give it to someone with an alcohol problem, due to the risks to the liver. Every day, I take an Olmesar H 40 tablet in the morning as a part of my daily regimen. However, I also have a habit of indulging in alcohol once a week, where I tend to have around three pegs. I am curious and slightly concerned about how this combination of medication and alcohol may affect my health in the long term or if there would be any immediate implications? ## It could worsen the side effects, according to the U.S. FDA, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination than usual. Additionally, the AMA reports that high amounts of alcohol risks causing cardiotoxicity and liver damage, or liver failure. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I drink alcohol daily (5 pegs). Can I take Olmesar-H (Olmesartan) 40mg in the morning?
I am taking 30mg of Prozac once daily, 0.5 Klonopin, Asacoland100mg twice a day ofNitrofurant Monohy would 1 to 2 glasses of wine harm me. Respected Sir, I was advised to take Eptoin 300 ER from 24/11/2014 at night (HS) but after looking to all my different reports including CT Scan of Brain, Doctor advise not to take alcohol, as I daily require 2 to 3 pack of whisky. Now please advise me that I can take 1 pack of whisky at 6 PM and after dinner at around about 8:30 PM and can consume Eptoin 300 ER at 10:30 PM i.e. at sleeping time. Please advise me at the earliest convenience.

One minute fine to next minute waking up with memory loss. My memory is really bad on day to day basis. Also need to know will i pick up weight with lexamil? ## The memory loss can be side effects of these medications, but it could also be due to other issues. Alcohol may worsen side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, and diarrhea. According to FDA. Is there anything else I can help with? Are you on any other medications? ## Hi, Ive been taking Zytomil for 2 weeks met up with a frie...
I have used tab. telma H for around one year. drug has started showing side effects including rise in serium uric acid level to 9.9. Doctor advises me to stop telma H and use telma 40 for the time being. Is it a safe prescription ## Telma H contains both Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Telma 40 just contains Telmisartan. As to being safe, there are possible dangers and side effects to all prescription drugs, which is why your doctor should be monitoring your use of them. I take 10 mg hydrocodone daily. I binge drank Saturday night and have been sick in bed with a tremendous hangover for 3 days. Anyone else experienced this? ## Well, mixing alcohol with prescription drugs is NEVER a good idea, it can enhance the side effects and cause exactly what you're experiencing, especially with a narcotic such as Hydrocodone. It is possibly it's been caused by something else, but highly doubtful. Have you tried consulting your doctor? ## Vicodin is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Some people take Vicodin and drink alcohol to intensify the effect of the hydrocodone. Unfortunately, mixing alcohol and acetaminephin WILL lead to liver damage and eventual liver failure (cirrhosis), which is often fatal. There are warnings on Tylenol or ...
Osteoporosis,Celiac,HRT,MouthUlcers,Insomnia,Fatigue...........Wine seems safest pain reliever w/o side effects. Any suggestions? Pain 24/7. Frustrated. ## No, wine certainly does have side effects, you just may not notice them all immediately, but they are there, especially if you have more than a serving or 2 a day. It does contain alcohol, so it can cause liver damage, stomach damage, esophageal damage and it can be cardio-toxic. Things are made even worse, if you combine it with pain medications, such as NSAIDS and/or narcotics. There are very good reasons that doctor's tell their patients not to drink, or to do so only in moderation. There are also good reasons most prescription drugs tell you not to drink, while taking them. What medications do you take? ## Thank you for your ...
I have had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy bilaterally for years. About two years ago, for other reasons, my physician suggested that I take 25 mg of Hydrochlorot daily. My PN continues to get worse, and I recently discovered that there may be a link between taking Hydrochlorot and its possible cause or effect of Peripheral Neuropathy. Any comments would be appreciated. ## Hello, Bob! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Did you mean Hydrochlorothiazide? This is a diuretic that removes water from the body, so it could aggravate such conditions, if it's keeping you dehydrated. How much liquid do you take in each day, not including anything caffeinated or alcoholic? Do you take any other medications?

dosage ## Esperal contains the active ingredient Disulfiram and is most commonly used to treat alcholism. Common side effects may include: nausea, metallic taste in mouth and drowsiness. When treatment is first started, it is usually taken once daily, in a maximum dose of 500mgs for 2 weeks, then adjusted accordingly by your doctor. Are there any comments or questions? ## Esperal contains only 5 crystals of the dry disulfiram. The reaction on this drug is cruel, but the good thing is that if the Esperal patient remains off alcohol, Esperal does not maintain the level of Disulfiram in a blood stream. It works around the clock checking the patient's blood stream for alcohol and only if the concentration of Ethanol goes above 0.08 Esperal drops one crystal of the medicine into the loca...
