Can I take Prednisone and Cyclobenzaprine together? ## You can, as long as your doctor has told you to take them both. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and weight changes. Are you on any other medications? I was prescribed cyclobenzaprine 5mg 3 times daily as needed for discomfort and diclofenac pot. 50mg once daily. My complaint was neck and shoulder pain. I was given an xray and was told it could be degenerative joint disease. I take Valsartan/hctz half of a 25mg pill. I took all 3 the other morning and what I would describe as butterfly feeling in my chest like 40 minutes after taking it. Should I stop taking it and call my dr.? It was the 1st time I had taken all 3. ## Hello, Mick! How are you? The Diclofenac can affect your blood pressure medication, so it may not work as well for you. That may be what caused this symptom. Yes, it would be best to speak to your doctor about the issue. They may want to adjust your dosage, or prescribe another medication. As listed by the FDA, Valsarta...

hey im on hydro's and cyclobenzaprine and diazwpam can uli take them all at the same time ## Hello, Chris! How are you? As long as they've all been prescribed for you and your doctor hasn't given you instructions not to do so. The main risk is the fact that they all increase sedation, so you may experience a lot of dizziness and drowsiness. It may be too much for you and you might do better taking them at different times of day. The Hydrocodone and Diazepam also carry the risk of being habit forming, according to the FDA. What times do you usually take them and what are the dosages?

Risks of taking 140 milligrams cyclobenzaprine daily ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? That is far too high of a dosage. The maximum daily dose of this muscle relaxant is usually no more than 30mgs daily. Did your doctor prescribe this much? That amount may create an overdose risk.

Can I take naproxen 440 mg & hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 tb & 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine together? I fell down the stairs and have tremendous back spasms when I move at all. Thanks. ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there is a high interaction potential between Cyclobenzaprine and Hydrocodone, which states that taking the two together may increase your risk of certain side effects (such as: loss of balance, dizziness, slurred speech, confusion, changes in mental awareness & slow or shallow breathing). They go on to note that if the two medications are deemed to be required, your doctor may adjust the dosage and/or frequency of dosing in order to lessen these risk factors. Is it like a lower tab. can i go to work on it? ## I've been taking Naproxen (500mg) for muscle spasms in my back. I find that a combination of Naproxen and Cyclobenzaprine (anti-inflammatory) will ease my discomfort in a matter of 2 - 3 days. ## Hello, I believe the next lowest dosage is 375mg. Naproxen also comes in lower dosages of 220, 250, and 275 mg. There's no way for me to know if u will be able to go to work on the 500 mg tab because everyone reacts to medication differently.
