Im soon to have a hip replacement as the operation was cancelled at last minute due to heart readings which after an echocardiogram i got the go ahead, now im having all these side effects from this new perscrip. and am worried the op. will be cancelled again. my blood pressure readings are all over the place, and when i saw the caridologist last week he said the 24 hour monitor last january gave normal readings.. why then did he change my meds?. ## Hav...

Is it safe to take occassional Aspirin if on Coversyl Plus for HBP 4mg and also on 100 mg Rilutek daily for ALS? ## Coversyl Plus contains the active ingredient Perindopril and it shouldn't be used with Aspirin, because the Aspirin can attenuate the vasodilator and hpotensive effects of the Perindopril and could result in your blood pressure dropping to dangerously low levels. Are there any other questions or comments? ## So Rilutek says not to use Tylenol, what can I use if headache or arthritis pain? ## What pain reliever for arthritis can I use if on 4mg Coversyl Plus & 100 mg Rilutek daily? ## PLS TELL ME IF I CAN USE BABY ASPIRIN WITH APO BISOPROLOL,COVERSYL 4MG AND ATORVASTATIN 40MG. I have a weak bladder and as a result have bladder urgency recently started coversyl plus and was wondering if contributes to my problem ## Hello, Moira! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, this medication can cause frequent urination and urgency as a side effect, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and hypotension. How long have you been taking it, now? Most side effects are transient and tend to go away, with time, once your body gets used to a medication, but that could take 4 to 5 weeks.

I am on COVERSYL plus, CONCOR 5 and diazepam. I have been prescribed MELITRACEN for anxiety on diazepam withdrawal. Is the combination safe. COVERSYL plus is perindopril and indapamide and CONCOR is Bisoprolol. Both are anti hypertensives. MELITRACEN contains FLUPENTHIXOL and MELITRACEN. Is this combination safe.

Request kindly advise me how long should I continue with these medicines and what are THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THESE MEDICINES ON ME.- Surendra from New Delhi.

A patien is given Prexum Plus, Coversil and Indapamine, are they not the same drugs? ## Prexum Plus contains Perindopril (Coversyl) and Indapamide, so yes. Though it may have something to do with the dosage and timing, it's common for a doctor to kind of play around with blood pressure/cardiac medications like these to try to figure out what works best for the patient. Learn more Perindopril details here. Learn more Indapamide details here. For instance, when I first started these types of medications in the hospital, I was given a combination exactly like the Prexum Plus first thing in the morning, then the diuretic similar to the Indapamide in the afternoon and another dose of ACE inhibitor similar to Perindopril in the evening. This prevent the diuretic from keeping me up all nig...

so far ny wife is prescribed : TG TOR 20 mg 1 tab/day Deplatt 20 mg 1 tab/day Coversyl Plus 1 tab/day Depin Retard 20 mg 1 tab/day she had a partial block in left Carotid vain. but yesterday, we received: LOPRIN 75 mg for Depin Retard and ZOSTA 10 mg for TG TOR. are they ok? ## Loprin is a low dose aspirin to slow clotting of the blood ## Yes, that is odd. Depin Retard contains the active ingredient Nifedipine, which is an anti-anginal medication and the Lopin is, as Donna said, Aspirin, used as a blood thinner. They are not interchangeable. The TG TOR contains Atorvastatin and the Zosta contains Simvastatin, they are in the same class of medications and are used to lower cholesterol, so switching from one to the other here isn't really a problem. Who made the switch? Was it ordered...

Is it due to medicine ## Telmisartan and Coversyl are both used to help control high blood pressure. Coversyl contains the active ingredient Quinapril and is commonly sold in the US under the brand name Accupril. Both headache and occasional weight loss are common side effects of this class of medications, along with nausea and dizziness. I am taking coveram 1/2 of 5mg tablet as doctor was still concerned about BP, I increased to a full tablet. My small continuous stomach ache is now much worse mainly during the night. Coversyl plus did the same and ended up in hospital with acute pancreatitis and that is why I was changed over to Coveram. ## The following symptoms are all listed as side effects of Coveram: stomach pain diarrhea constipation muscle cramps feeling sick (nausea) Does the stomach ache still occur even when you are off the medication? I was thinking perhaps it could have something to do with foods you may have been eating, but those side effects make it pretty clear that Coveram is the main issue here. None the less it's probably wise to stop taking these types of medications in general if your body just...

Now my blood Fasting is 231 and P.P. is 399, HbA1C is 11.4%.My BP pulse is 126/80. Previously i consult with a doctor, who suggest me Huminsulin 30/70(before breakfast and dinner). But now I consult with a doctor at kolkata, he suggest me Amanyl MP2 (before breakfast and dinner), coversyl plus and aztar 10. But my sugar is not come normal, so please suggest have their any side effect or not work ## The question I have is: Are you also watching what you eat? If you're diabetic, that means your food and beverages have a direct effect on your health. Anything that's extremely starchy or sweet will raise your blood sugar levels. Simple sugars such as the ones found in fruits and candy are worse than the complex ones from carbs, but both have an effect. Exercise also plays a role, if...
