He's performance at work has been affected by this. How long does the medication wears off after taking it? ## Hello, Maria! How are you and your boyfriend? How long has he been taking the medication? Those can be typical side effects of it, as listed by the FDA, he may also experience increased urination and hypotension. Typically, side effects are transient and will improve, then go away entirely, after about 4 to 5 weeks, once his body gets used to the medication. However, if they do not go away, or if they worsen, he should consult his doctor as he may need to try a different medication.
Hello, dear doctor. I'm 65 years old and I was using Tritace 10 mg (1 daily), Natrilix SR 1.5 mg (1/2 or 1 daily) and Noten 50 mg (1/2 daily) for my high blood pressure for the past 8 years. Now the cardiologist asked me to change to Coveram 10/5, because my medications are too old now. After 10 days taking Coveram I noticed that my average blood pressure from 137/81 became 134/78 which is almost the same, but my pulse increased from 64 to 75 (in average). What is the normal pulse should be in my age? And can I stay on Coveram only or add Noten (1/4 or 1/2 tablet) with it? Or get back to previous medications? Your opinion is very important to me. Thank you. Kind Regards, Jack ## I live in Australia, New South Wales, Sydney. I concern about the pulse. After I started Coveram it became...

I am taking coveram 1/2 of 5mg tablet as doctor was still concerned about BP, I increased to a full tablet. My small continuous stomach ache is now much worse mainly during the night. Coversyl plus did the same and ended up in hospital with acute pancreatitis and that is why I was changed over to Coveram. ## The following symptoms are all listed as side effects of Coveram: stomach pain diarrhea constipation muscle cramps feeling sick (nausea) Does the stomach ache still occur even when you are off the medication? I was thinking perhaps it could have something to do with foods you may have been eating, but those side effects make it pretty clear that Coveram is the main issue here. Maybe your body chemistry is just changing with ...
I take salt tablets during exercise due to the heat in the tropics & sweating. They have Potassium in them, they stop me cramping. Is there a problem or would I recognise it if there was? ## Hello, Adrian! How are you doing? Has your potassium level been checked? That is what would provide you with an answer. Levels that are too high or too low can be very dangerous. Thus, it's best to have it checked regularly, especially if you've been taking supplements that contain it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks, will do that.

I have been taking Coveram 5/5 for some time now and had my blood pressure checked about 3 weeks ago (for an insurance that I was taking out). My blood pressure was 85/60 which I believe is very low. I have since stopped taking the Coveram as I was afraid that it was causing my blood pressure to drop too much. I had also been taking a product called Stress-Away (made by TIBB) and wonder if this might have caused this reaction. Since that very low reading, i have also stopped taking the Stress-Away tablets and have felt no ill effects from the lack of either tablet. I am a little concerned about this and was wondering if I am doing any damage to my system. ## Rather than stopping the medication, it would have been better to speak to your doctor, since letting your condition continue untr...
When is the best time to take Coveram 10mg/10mg? ## The dosing instructions note that you should only take 1 tab of Coveram once daily, before meals (on an empty stomach). That said, the timing seems to be left up to the patient in whatever schedule works best for you. My suggestion would be to take it first thing in the morning. That way you don't necessarily have food in your stomach at the time. I hope this helps! ## can you drink coveram 4 hrs after a meal or will it be to soon ## when is the best time to drink eltroxin 1.0 & 0.5mg
Hi, I have been taking Coveram 10/10 for a little over 2 years now. In that time I have been suffering from the following symptoms. Headache, Chronic Fatigue, Ringing in the Ears, Sleep Insomnia. I have to get up to piss 6 times a night even though I have nothing to piss. When I wake up in the morning I dry vomit for no apparent reason and I feel as if I haven't slept all night. And best of All I am sleepy all the time, I even fall asleep at my desk at work. I don't recall having these issues prior to taking the Coveram and my wife tells me I'm apparently "normal" when I forget to take the daily tablet. My current life at present is miserable. Should I discontinue taking the Coveram? No one mentioned side effects when the Coveram was prescribed nor dispensed. ## Hell...
I was placed on coveram 10/10, but can't always afford it, can I use phaemapress 10 my in the meantime, until I can afford it again, , couple off years ago, I used a different high blood pressure tablet, with ridaq and something to prevent gout ( can't remember those names), what is your suggestion, for me to do ## I would suggest speaking to your doctor to ask them about prescribing a more affordable option. They shouldn't have a problem doing so, especially since having you on one medication consistently is better than having you switching regularly due to high prices. Typical side effects of medications for high blood pressure may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Are you on any other medications?
can fenac ec 50mg tablets be taken in conjunction with coveram blood pressure tablets? ## What has your doctor advised? The Coveram contains Amlodipine and Perindopril and the Perindopril can cause some interactions with the Diclofenac, such as making it more potent, so your blood pressure drops lower and it can increase the risk of nephrotoxicity.
