Covaryx
20 Topics FoundThis is coming from someone who had a complete hysterectomy in 1992. I have been on HRT since then. I too believe that nothing works better than the Estratest. Not only does it control all menopausal symptoms it increases my sex drive, which was an added bonus. Since I was FORCED to change to a drug that is supposed to be identical to the Estratest, Covaryx I can attest that it is not the same. All the reasons I was taking it, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, mental and emotional well being ect. have returned. I have been on the Covaryx for about 90 days. I am very upset about this. I do know the drug is available in Canda. I am in the process of getting a prescription from my Dr. To get them out of the USA. I will keep you all posted. ## Hi Paula, Sorry to hear about your experience with ...
I've been taking Covaryx HS the generic brand EEMT for about 2 weeks and wanted to know if I were gonna experience side effects when would they start? I have went pee several times today with no problem. It's now evening here and I just went pee again and felt very irritated in my vaginal area. It was irritated with a slight burn so I decided to look and see what's going on, went and got the mirror and noticed that my vulva was swollen, red and irritated. I do not have pain it's just an uncomfortable feeling. Idk if this could be a side effect from the medicine. There is no odor or discharge, just uncomfortable. I even showed my husband to make sure he never saw that before, he said it may be from pushing hard when I am constipated. So if there are any answers or advice ...
WHAT DRUG PLAN WILL PAY FOR COVARYX MONTHLY WHEN YOU ARE ON MEDICARE. ## I've experienced the same with $$ expense and not covered. I'm currently investigating and will let you know! ## Hi Deborah, It seems to me like it would probably be best to just contact your local benefits administrator or dial Medicare's number directly at 1-800-633-4227 for more specific details involving the coverage of certain plans they offer. According to Medicare's website, you can also get personalized information about which plans cover your medication via the following page: medicare.gov/find-a-plan Will look forward to any updates Post #1 has as well! Hope this helps!

I've been taking the Estratest 1.25/2.5 for years without complications. I was told this was changed to Covaryx and this was generic ...however some say not Generic ..this is confusing.. the price especially..I checked several Phamacies $300 plus..up to $405 (Walgreens) for 90 pills...The pill is yellow for 1.24/2.5 ....pink for HS ## I've been taking Estratest for a few years now and love it....I have been getting it at Walmart for about $55 for 3 month supply....If you use an RX Savings Card you will be amazed at the difference in pricing. My insurance does not cover it - thank goodness that I found this discount - otherwise it is the the $300 range. It is still called Estratest as of 2 months ago. ## I ran into the same problem. A 30 day prescription was going to be nearly $3...
I have been taking this medicine for 8 years....it works for me....now they tell me that i have to take this Covaryx......it is very expensive since i dont have any insurance...why??? did the manufacturer stop making estrogenmtest....it was so much cheaper....and it worked... ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? I am really not sure. Originally, it was stated that it was due to the Methyltestosterone in it, but that doesn't seem to make sense, because there are others available, such as the Covaryx, that still contain it as an ingredient. Does anyone know more about this?
i need EXACT replacement, dosage, for Estratest HS. EXACT. thanks for any help. ## The exact replacement is a new product called Covaryx. It has the same active ingredients as Estratest. This was according to Centrix Pharmaceuticals. ## This whole thing is so strange. Costco would not fill my script for Estratest, or any generic, but Krogers would. I don't know what is going on with this stuff. I know Syntex is a replacement but as far as I can tell, it is unavailable. I have read from the company that the generic will be available soon, it is a matter of reclassifying the drug as a controlled substance because of the testosterone and the abuse of it by men looking for steroids. Thanks for your answer.... ## yeah, and since that is not a generic, i bet it costs a fortune. not that w...
Been taking 12 years quit taking for 10 days to see if i could quit taking. what affect will it have or what systoms will? i have I had head ack still have ovaries ## Our bodies get dependent on anything we ingest regularly for prolonged periods of time. You may experience: headache, nausea, diarrhea, weight fluctuations and acne. If you start to have any severe issues, please consult your doctor or your nearest emergency treatment center. Have you talked to your doctor about stopping these? ## My prescription mail order (forced) carrier claims that this is no longer available (EST estrogen mtest ds)? Is that true or are they just trying to force me to take a different medication (covaryx 1.25-2.5)? Are these even the same medications? I need some answers soon as I believe they just are...
Estratest is the only hormone that fit me perfectly for weight, attitude, libido, energy, youth. I have been miserable without it. Can't find anything, not even bio's that take it's place. Can we get it in another country - Mexico? Canada? Everything has changed with me since I quit taking it because it's not available in the US. ## Estratest contains the active ingredients, Esterified Estrogens + Methyltestosterone. The company "Solvay" has discontinued the manufacture of Estratest and Estratest HS Have you considered looking at other brands which contain the same active ingredients? Brand names with these ingredients are listed below: Covaryx, Covaryx HS, EEMT, EEMT DS, EEMT HS, Essian, Essian H.S, Menogen HS, Menogen, Syntest HS, Syntest DS I've also heard...
I have been told that my EST ESTROGENMTEST TABS have been recalled and they will not refill my prescription that I have been taking for years. I would like to know if this is true and if so why? ## The medication has not been recalled, it has actually been discontinued by the manufacturer, so your pharmacy has no way to fill a prescription for it. Learn more Estrogen details here. If you require HRT, then you should contact your doctor and ask them to prescribe an alternative. Is there anything else I can help with? ## whats the best alternative if this med is not available ## I was told the same by Express Scripts were I get my medicine from. I have been looking on the internet and they say that there is a alternative Covaryx. I am going to call my doctor and talk to him today about me...

Is this true...no generic Estratest manufactured? Is there a compounded equivalent..how much does it cost? ## Hi Maggie, Unfortunately the rumors are true. If you'd like, you can have a look at the facts linked below, regarding the FDA "unapproved" Estratest. I think it can answer a lot of questions patients have about the medication and what equivalents are out there: whrc.net/forms/estratest_info.pdf?PHPSESSID=76f3a7ed80731c9d4ca32f37e7776812 I hope this helps! ## Mine was filled at Wal-Mart in Georgia for $104.00 (no insurance) New drug " Covaryx Tab " replaced EST Estrogenmtest Tab compared at $78.00 for 90 day supply ## Here is a recap of the information available on this and a few other Estratest threads. There is a supply distribution problem for the medicatio...
has anyone found a replacement for estratest? The generic form doesn't work for me. I have taken estratest for 6 six years with no side effects. It has helped me to feel normal after a hysterectomy and has continued. Without it I am tired, joint pain, no sexual desire, mental tiredness, night sweats, depressed and overall just feel bad. I am hoping to find something that will be identical to the estratest. I need a miracle. ## Please help me find estratest tablet nothing ekes works ## I've not been the same since they taking estratest rx away from me. Body aches, mod swing, you would not believe body change. ## I was told a drug called Covaryx is the replacement. I will let you know how it goes.
