Cough Medication
100+ Topics FoundMy son is 5 months old weighting 5 Kg. He is suffering from a cough and cold and he was given Ofloxacin suspension (Brand Name: NEOF) and no improvement after 4 days also. Is it a better medicine for cough and cold? Please advise me on the issue. ## Ofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics known as Quinolone Antibiotics. These antibiotics have been banned in the United States for children for their potential to cause tendon, cartilage, joint and muscle problems and the FDA found that these problems were too risky to give this drug to growing children. It would be prudent to ask your doctor for an alternative antibiotic to any of the Quinolones, as it is simply too risky to give them to children. In addition, this is an antibiotic, and antibiotics are only useful for bacterial infections. ...

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Zolpidem as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Benzonatate may cause side effects, such as constipation, diz...

looking for a full list of pain medications ## I'm not sure how complete this list may be, but posted below are quite a few prescription pain medications I came across (as of 2012). Filed under Allergies, Cough & Cold## I have been taking Lisinopril, Metoprolol and Amlodipino. Could you tell me what secondary effects these medicines produce ? Do they steal my minerals ? I have lost several teeth, and my recent memory too. Besides I cough a lot. Thanks. ## Gavis, you should consult your doctor, since once that cough starts, it usually doesn't go away, according to FDA reports, so you might need to try different medications, according to FDA reports. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, low heart rate, and hypotension. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
this is a prescription I once had. Clear yellow capulse. ## That tells us nothing. Need to know more information, are there any markings on them? ## There are no markings on the small capsule I described for Cough. It worked fantastic. The Dr. who prescribed has died. No one else seems to know what it could be. ## Actually, I think I do know, it is a small, orange or brownish colored gel capsule thing, very tiny with liquid inside. My husband had them awhile ago, it is actually a type of anesthetic that works by numbing to supress your cough. I am hunting for my bottle for the name, as soon as I find it, I will post the name. There is a marking on these, however, it is too tiny to see without a magnifying glass. I remember when my husband got his, and I looked it up for side-effects, I ...
Hi doc, my baby she is 1 month old she has a dry cough, i took her to a clinic they only gave her parcetamol, not anti biotics or powder for suspension, should i buy it ## Hi Nokuzola, Based on my research, newborns 2 months or older can safely be given Paracetamol (also know as Acetaminophen) as long as the dose is correctly measured based on the newborn's body weight. If your doctor said it was ok to give your 1 month old Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, just be sure to confirm that the dosage is right so no problems occur. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen Details I hope this info helps! ## May 3weeks old baby ko nag ipot ipot PO cxa Anu PO kayang gamot para SA kanya
