My son is 5 months old weighting 5 Kg. He is suffering from a cough and cold and he was given Ofloxacin suspension (Brand Name: NEOF) and no improvement after 4 days also. Is it a better medicine for cough and cold? Please advise me on the issue. ## Ofloxacin is in a class of antibiotics known as Quinolone Antibiotics. I went back and she put me on benzonatate for a cough OK my question is I think I'm trying to catch a cold, is it safe to take night time cold and flu med. For instance, many of them use Diphenhydramine in the night time ones, which could be too sedating if taken with the other medications. Can you please post back and clarify? Hi, my son is 12 years old and was diagnose with ADHD, He started to take this medication from the 18 July 2016 to date and his taking Risperlet 0.5mg and concerta 36 in the morning and 1mg at night together with the Epilizine, since Tuesday afternoon his been complaining about feeling hot and not feeling very well, this morning on Thursday he had a blackout sitting in the cough with thick salaiva out of his mouth that was very scary, he just dozed-off and I tried to wake him up, called his doctor immediately and he told me to stop the medication, Not sure what is the cause is the medication to strong for him or the doctor can't find the right dose for him? I have been taking from two days Banocide Forte & cough syrup for severe cough, difficulty speaking due cough, shortness of breath, clearing of voice consistently. I have been having cough, cold, fever for 3 weeks, now cold & fever have subsided but severe cough is still persisting. Kindly suggest. ## Getting often sore throat,wet cough,slight fever and tiredness. I want reason and medicine. ## Are you sure you are taking the right kind of medication? There are different medicines for different kinds of cough (i.e. oral expectorants, cough suppressants, topical ointments, etc).

Cannot tolerate ACE inhibitors (24 hrs of coughing) nor calcium channel blockers (little help; leg swelling). On Benicar HCT and have persistent sinus problems and coughing that do not respond to allergy or sinus medications. Doc insists that the benicar is not the reason! Anyone else had this problem? I am currently taking Spiriva, Advair and Atrovent as a rescue inhaler and have been for many years. I would be interested in knowing if there are newer, more advanced, medications on the market which are now being prescribed? ## I am not sure if it is available for you yet, but one of the newest to be approved in the U.S and the EU is Daliresp for COPD and other inflammatory breathing issues. since I can no longer get this medication, I would like to know if there is a subsitute that works. ## Is deconamine available anywhere? If not, is there an effective alternative? I was switched to Allegra D over a year ago for allergies and have had 4 sinus infections since, despite sinus surgery. I've now had sinusitis for over a month and my primary care and allergist aren't sure why. See an ENT tomorrow. Boy, would I like to have some deconamine again. I'm on Alzam 0.5mg x3 daily. I have in the last month suffered flu symptoms, Aching body, Headaches, Blocked nose and coughing. I've been on Alzam for almost 2yrs. What safe medication can i use for my flu that wont counteract or have bad side effects in conjunction with Alzam? Thx.

My baby is 2yrs old and 2 months. He was having runny nose, sneezing, and sometimes coughing. I gave him bioflu 2.5ml every 6hrs. After 1 day he is ok and no more runny nose, but the problem is he is still coughing... Can i give him ambroxol syrup? When should i stop giving him bioflu syrup? Why would I be prescribed Lorazepam with Tessalon perels and Amoxicillin for acute bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection? ## Hello, Curtis! How are you? The pearls are used to suppress cough and the Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. I am not sure, however, on the Lorazepam. Did you doctor explain?

They should be able to help you figure out which one is causing it and prescribe an alternative that you can take.

Need to know more information, are there any markings on them? ## There are no markings on the small capsule I described for Cough. It worked fantastic. The Dr. who prescribed has died. Can one take paracetamol with Phensedyl cough syrup? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? Pinex cough syrup you had to mix it at home. ## From what I can find, it is no longer being manufactured. There are many posts online with people looking for it, but no stores seem to carry it anymore and the manufacturer does not list it.
