Circle White Pill A On One Side

Sitting with my elderly grandfather and he tells me to get him his meds. The medicine he asked for did not match the description on the bottle. I don't know if he's gotten them mixed up or if the pharmacy did. Pharmacy is closed and I have one angry grandpa that won't take no for an answer. Can anyone identify this pill. He says it's his pain meds... ## This might be an herb supplement, or an OTC med. I cant find it on the internet. I'm not a pharmacist so I would look into the situation and see who's around him, maybe check with the pharmacist. I have a white, oval shaped pill. It has the letters "a" and "p" in lowercase on one side. On the other side, there are 4 intertwined circles with no other markings or numbers, but it did come in one of those foil packets. I would greatly appreciate the help!

The outer coating on it should be purple. fat white oblong pill not scored with a /o circle with a line through it ## Are there any other markings on the pill? I was unable to locate this exact pill. ## No other markings. I found it in my drawer and didn't recognize it. Thought it might be a darvocet, but not sure. ## This sounds like vitamin D tablets. Mine are white with nothing on one side; the other has a circle with a line through it. If you look at it closely (upright) it almost looks like an airplane from one angle or a y (sideways). The feedback that was posted there depicts this as being a supplement and not a drug - Quite possibly a collagen supplement or perhaps something else used for skin wrinkles and stronger nails.
