Does Xarelto cause weight gain specifically. ## I wonder myself if my weight gain is from Xarelto. I have AFIB my Doctor gave me Xarelto I had a follow up in two weeks. I had decided in the meantime to lose some weight , being tired all the time I drink lots of coffee. 7-9-14 cups a day and I like them with sugar & creamer. I figure that I was drinking in between 600-800 calories at eight cups much more if I drank additional cups ( creamers can vary 20-30 cal to 50 or more). So I went cold turkey to Black coffee only and drank much less for the two weeks. I thought I would lose at least 1-2 pounds on the next visit but instead gained 8 pounds thats in two weeks time. OK I'm going to give it more time and see if something else is going on besides the Xarelto. I"ll check back ...

hi there do u have to always take this pill for life and if u stop will u put back on the weight and also can u take it with taking birthcontrol pills ## From the limited information I can find, there is a product on the market that is called Banital, it is actually just an herbal supplement that is claimed to aid in weight loss, however, as such, it is actually not proven to do so. And, based on that, I can't really provide you with any other information on it. As to taking it with birth control, I'd suggest checking with your doctor or pharmacist, before using it, because there are some other substances that can cause them to be less effective. Does anyone have more information on this?

I've used Xenical before and had excellent results but as soon as I came off the tablets and carried on eating low fat the weight came back. Im a 51 year old male with long standing testosterone issues. Several years ago my T level was 113. I was placed on Androgel1.0 then Androgel 1.62. Both had little to no effect. I have been on Paxil CR for 2 years and have gained over 80 pounds. The Dr. says Paxil is not the cause. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I had PE in October 2016 and was put on Pradaxa for DVT. They tried me on it for 6 months, checked my blood work and the doctor said I could go off it. I started to gain weight on it so at the first 5-10 pounds of going up, I cranked up the workouts and protein diet, got my macros in order and the hematologist put me back on it saying since I had it once, PE could happen again. I gained more weight over the course of a year (237 to 256), call it water, muscle, fat, my pant size went up. The doctors were like, "we don't know anything about weight gain as a side effect." Well, brush up doctors, even the FDA has this one logged. I'm asking to go off of it for 30 to 90 days, then recheck my blood work, so if there is a problem I will go back on. Hey, I want know if fefolvit tablets are used by unmarried women as it is mostly prescribed in pregnancy? I switched from Synthroid to Tirosint. I have gained 8 lbs, constipated, hair loss and HBP. Can anyone explain this? ## What dosage were you taking of the Synthroid, and what is your prescribed dose of the Tirosint? I had a deep vein clot in my leg. after having surgery I started taking Xarelto. Hello, I've been on 150 of Synthroid for about 3 years. Recently I started training for a half marathon and have lost about 25 pounds in the last 7 months. Does weight loss/gain mean dosage change? Last blood test was about 4 months ago and everything checked out normal. Any feedback would be great.
