Can anyone use expired pile such as hydrochlorat or any other drug or should they be thrown away... ## Most expired medications, in tablet, or capsule form, do not become dangerous, or toxic, once expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy. Thus, the FDA recommends that they be disposed of and you should see your doctor for a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi there How are you? I have been experiencing heart palpitations. After ECG doctors said I have a constant fast heart rate. They prescribed pur-bloka 10mg 3x per day as a temporary thing. can I use flamar dp tablets that expired in February, 2012? ## Flamar-DP contains the active ingredients Diclofenac and Paracetamol and they start to lose effectiveness past the expiration date, so it's while they likely haven't degraded much in just a few months, it would be wises to not risk it and just dispose of them. I am having trouble with the pex-2 I bought from India cause I have no insurance and my job doesn't offer it. Anyway it relieves my anxiety/panic disorders and it helps with my depression but on some nights I have EXCRUCIATING panic attacks where I want to call 911. If a prescription expired can you still take them ## I'm not not an MD so I cannot say whether or not it is still safe to consume an expired pill, but my opinion is that you should take caution as to how long it has been expired for. I personally wouldn't take it if it is more than a week expired, because not only would the ingredients degrade over time and not be as effective, but perhaps in some medications the chemical makeup may be altered over the years and there's always a greater risk of unwanted side effects that are associated with that. I have a terrible rash on my neck, chest and spreading to my breasts. I am on 20 mg. of prednisone (reduced from 30 mg) and have been for almost a month. I do not see the answers to this question. You have to be in full blown withdrawals. I wanted something to get of 40 mg of oxycodone and then the doctor told me I could have withdrawals if I took too soon so your going to be in withdrawals anyway. Im scared. If I took a zubsolv this AM can I safely take an opana tonight? ## @big a, Depending on how much you took and how frequently you take Zubsolv, it seems like most comments on here recommend waiting at least a few days before you can feel the full effects of something like Opana. This is mainly due to buprenorphine's long half-life of anywhere between 24 to 60 hours (at which point half of what you took is still working in your system). However if it was just a one time thing, I'd imagine that you probably wouldn't have to wait quite as long.
