Can I Take Hydrocodon And Motrin

Supposed to be a Lortab, scored with IP 414. Please ID ## Can I ask the color and shape of the tablet? I'm not finding a marking for IP414 in any of the databases. I have, however, found one marked IP 144, a brown, caplet, that contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand for Advil or Motrin. Please post back and let me know if this matches the tablet in question, or provide whatever additional information you can. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

Can't this be use for swollen gland under my jaw due to sinus drainage? ## it will help with the pain but not so much for swelling. try alleve or motrin for swelling.and an ice pack ## @Tissue, RE (post #1): Acetaminophen is an anti-inflammatory drug, so I don't see how it wouldn't help with the swelling. If it didn't, that would certainly contradict its drug classification, no? Hydrocodone on the other hand will probably only help with the pain aspect. However if you're (original poster) on the lookout for other anti-inflammatory agents to help ease a swollen lymph node, I would encourage things like herbal tea, ginger, raw coconut oil, and raw honey, along with Turmeric. I am currently yaking 300mg Motrin for arthritis pain. Developed severe sciatica and was prescibed Hydrocodone APAP 5 mg /325mg. Am 78 years old 122 pound. Is that too much painkiller, what are the side effects. ## Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are the active ingredients in Vicodin, it's a narcotic analgesic and this is the lowest dosage available. However, only you and your doctor can decide whether or not it's the right medication for you. The side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. I am smaller than you and was recently taking one in a higher dosage, prescribed by my dentist for the pain from an infection. The worst problem I had from it was the nausea.

I take hydrocodone-apap (10-325) half dose for back muscle spasms. Too much acts as a stimulant and results in insomnia. I discovered that combined with Aleve (1 pill) that I obtained entire relief. Unfortunately, I am stomach sensitive to NSAIDs. Do you have any suggestions for an anti-inflammatory that is not stomach sensitive? Acetamedaphine (Motrin) does not work. I just had eye surgery and was given Norco (4x a day) and Motrin (3x a day) to take for pain, can I take them at the same time or do I need to space them out? ## Hi Chris, Hope you're recovering well from the surgery. From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions listed between Norco (acetaminophen + hydrocodone) and Motrin (ibuprofen). So I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to take them both together if that's what you need to do in order to achieve adequate pain relief. Also as long as it's the same doctor who prescribed both, I think that he/she would've informed you up front of any possible risks involved with doing so if there really were serious consequences to be had. I recently moved to Houston and have no idea where to look for a doctor, especially one who will write a prescription for pain medication without making you feel like a drug head. Just like many many other people I have sciatica & a degenerative disc in my back. How many can i take without getting my liver hurt with the acetaminophen. I hurt my back and I took one about two hours ago but my back is still killing me. Doc also gave me 600mg Motrin and something called flexiril. I'm not a pill popper so I don't know how safe taking all this stuff is. But I can hardly sit anywhere besides a hot tub without extremes pain. Seeing chiropractor next week until then all I got is the hydrocodone the Motrin and the flexiril. Any suggestions for something stronger than vicodin? It really doesn't work anymore. I take two 7.5mg doses every 4 hours 3 x a day and A LOT of motrin. ## Wow! Does your doctor know that you are taking the Vicodin and Motrin? It is really not good to be taking both of those. The Vicodin contains Acetaminophen and the Motrin contains Ibuprofen. As to what else you can use for pain, there are many other options on the market, if the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin is no longer cutting it. Hi; I was prescribed hydrocodone by my doctor (and ran out) a friend of mine brought me 2 pills and I just wanted to make sure they are hydrocodone only. They are an oval shape, white, and on one side it has the number 600, and on the other side it says IP 132 He states that they are in fact 600mg hydrocodone. Is he right? I found a blue oblong pill with imprint of L050 on it and was told by a family member this is a "hydrocodone with ibuprofen or motrin". Look guys, hydrocodone isn't made in India..It is only available in the US, Germany (In pure form for coughs only) and I am not sure about Canada..The good old days of online pharmacies are over, gone. I remember in 2002 you could get 90 10/325 vicodins, and 90 2 mg xanax for $90.00 total..If you see a website that offers the samething run, don't walk away.. You will get ripped off.
