Can express scripts discuss my medicines with my dentist without my knowledge? What about hippa laws? ## Hello, Brdie! How are you? To my understanding, your doctor or pharmacist is allowed to discuss your medications with them and it is not a HIPAA violation, because they are a prescriber and there is a risk of interactions and etc. Thus, there is certain information that may be essential to your safe care that they need to know. In reality, for your own safety, you should tell them everything that you are taking, before they prescribe anything, as directed by the FDA. Additionally, when you see your doctor or dentist, you usually sign a paper acknowledging their privacy policies and when they will talk to another practitioner and what information will or will not be shared. can an 80 year old man take both cipro and sulamethozole double strength together and cause heart failure? ## Label warning say do not give Fluoroquinolones (Cipro) to elderly, but they can affect anyone. Search Facebook for Fluoroquinolone or online saferpills.org. ## Thanks for the info the doctor gave me 80 year old father both. ## It is listed to use Ciprofloxacin in caution with the elderly, not as a do not give it to them and the reason for it is due to the increased risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture. My mother is experiencing loss of memory and speechproblems can this be a side effectof nitrofurmac ## After looking at a number of credible webpages, I'm actually not finding anything relating to memory loss or speech impairment. I know these can be side effects of many prescription drugs, but in this case, not even the prescribing information for Nitrofurantoin lists such information. Is your mom taking any other medications or supplements that might be attributing to those side effects? MedlinePlus lists "excessive tiredness" as a severe side effect. I get to wondering if perhaps her speech problems could just be associated with sheer tiredness and inability to fully express her thoughts into words...In the meantime I would encourage you to help her talk to her doctor abo...

white oblong pill ## I have se vere arthritis and osteo arthritis; what is paquil ## Hi sandra stewart, I can't find any information on a medication by the name "Paquil" - Are you referring to "Paxil" perhaps? If so, Paxil (Paroxetine) is actually an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Although it is not usually prescribed for arthritis some studies have shown that this medication may be able to help with arthritis pain- very likely due to the fact that it decreases anxiety which may help with pain sensations. However, I have also read that Paxil can even cause Arthritis or joint pains so it seems as if the studies aren't that thorough at this point and time. Lymphir Denileukin Diftitox-cxdl

Denileukin diftitox (trade name Ontak) was an antineoplastic agent, an engineered protein combining interleukin-2 and diphtheria toxin. Denileukin diftitox could bind to interleukin-2 receptors[1] and introduce the diphtheria toxin into cells that express those receptors, killing the cells. In some leukemias and lymphomas, malignant cells express these receptors, so denileukin diftitox can target these. In 1999, Ontak was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (F...
