I've been taking Bupropion SR 150 mg made by Sandoz - successfully. My mail order Rx service arbitrarily changed me to one made by Anchin. I feel I'm spiraling down. can there be that much difference in brands? ## Hi KayS, I'm sorry to hear that the mail order Rx service changed your prescription without notice. I've heard of that happening to many others on the site, I can only imagine the frustration. If there is any difference between the pills, it would most likely just be the "inactive" ingredients that were used. That may or may not cause any issues- but if it does you will definitely want to talk to the Mail order service and a let them know what has happened. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Bupropion Details I hope my reply is helpful, ...

Can you tell me if there is a differance in the effect to the patiant with these two pills? or are they really the same. Was on Bupropion SR 150 MG once a day. refill says Bupropion HCL XL 150 MG Tablet once a day. used for Depression in 14 year old female? ## They are the same, the SR and XL both just designate it as being a time released formulation of the medication. There are just several different abbreviations for it used by manufacturers and pharmacies. Learn more Bupropion details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I take bupropion xl and have sent back the sr tablets because they dont last through the evening. A druggist told me I would have to take two sr tabs a day. XL means extended release. My doctor changed my script to XL ## I was started on the XL, which is...

Can you safely dissolve Bupropion SR 150 MG? The tablet is hard to swallow. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? No, you cannot. The SR designates it as a time released mediation, so dissolving it may result in your getting to much of the medication, at once, which could cause an overdose. The best thing to do would be to speak to your medical provider about prescribing the regular release tablets, so you can cut or break them, if needed. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, nervousness and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on Bupropion 150mg XL for years and am now switching to 75mg SR but cutting the 150mg SR pill (MU12) in half per my doctor's directions. Is it safe to cut the pill and take it on a daily basis? The official Mylan site says not to, but that was my doctor's directions. Would like to get other opinions before I start. ## Hello, Gary! How are you? Well, only your doctor can speak to their own rationale, but my best guess would be that since you've already been taking the higher dosage, they don't see much risk of your overdosing by cutting this tablet. Unless you're taking the whole tablet, you won't get the full 150mgs. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and nervousness. H...

IMy doctor switch from 75 mg of ic bupropion hcl to 150mg of ic bupropion sr I dont want to gain weight.People tell me wich is better. ## The only difference here is the dosage and the fact that the new one he prescribed for you is a sustained release tablet, which means you take one tablet a day and it is slowly released, rather than releasing all of the medication at once. The side effects, however, remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. If you weren't gaining weight on it, then there isn't much chance that the new dosage is going to have that effect on you, either. Are there any comments or questions? ## I WOULD LIKE THE SIDR AFFECTS OF BUPROPION 150MGSR TAB WATTS

Bupropion sr 150 Mg lg Dark BROWN pill. who is the maker of this generic pill? ## Hi, Anna! Are there any markings on the tablet? That's what would enable me to find the information about the manufacturer for you. Can you please post back with this additional information? Thanks!

Today I picked up my refill. I have been taking 1 twice a day since 1999. In all those years through different drug company changes, the pill has always been a round med-large white pill. I called Walmart to make sure I got then correct pill (four times over the years me and my mom got the wrong pill, with the right label). The representative argued with me rudely stating the pill has to be right, because they never make mistakes. I told her yes they have. She rudely said, you can go on the internet and check the code. I was insulted and told her I will bring it back and check with the pharmacist. My question is what pharmaceutical company distributes this purple pill code E-415? I haven't been able to find it, please help. Thanks ## I have just started my first cycle of Bupropion S...

I've been taking this medication for almost 4 weeks. The first two weeks taking the medication was great, but these last two weeks has been horrible. I've been having motion sickness for two weeks and a lil dizziness every once in awhile. It has helped with my nightmares, but I get so discouraged because the motion sickness is depressing. I wanted to see if the A101 pill or the 3331 150mg pill will make a difference. I've seen XL, SA and SR and it all confuses me why there are so many pills that are related to this medication. I am going to see if my Dr. can change it to a different number, the #13 pill is terrible. ## When a medication is available as a generic it is usually manufactured by various different pharmaceutical companies, whichever one you receive from any given...

Current Bupropion HCL XL150 MB TABGLO are yellow oblong pills that are press-stamped 681. New Rx refill is Bupropion HC XL150 MG Tablets are small white pills tab ink stamped WPI 3331...is there just a difference in manufacturer? ## Yes, that is correct, they are both the same medication, in the same dosage and formulation, just made by different companies. It is common for a pharmacy to switch which one they provide, depending on who was offering the cheapest price whenever they needed to restock. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What exactly is the difference in Bupropion HCL XL and Bupropion SR? ## I have been taking Bupropion HCL XL 150 mg round white tablets for several years. My friend took three white round pills imprinted with wpi 839 because he thought they were ibuprofen. Will he overdose or will he be okay? ## How is he doing? Did he experience any adverse effects? The FDA advises that anytime you are worried about the health of someone and their well being, it is always best to consult your nearest emergency services. This medication can cause nervousness, elevated heart rate, and elevated blood pressure, all of which could result in dangerous conditions. Is her on any other medications?

weening off this antidepressant, i have been on it for 3 months. any one out there with exactly the same medicine? how many mg did u reduce it by and over what period of time. Thanks ## This type of information is probably best given by your doctor; only because the difference in dosages can affect each person differently. What might be a safe tapered-dose for one person could also end up being too drastic of a change for someone else. I would even ask your doctor to help you put together a tapering schedule (on a calendar), in order track your progress and keep you on the right path to completing your goal within a specific time frame. Without a way to track your progress, tapering can sometimes be much more difficult than it needs to be. I hope this advice helps!

I have been to a neurologist, a rheumatologist, i've been for an M.R.I., and also been for more blood tests than I can count. All because of side effects I had been having for nearly two years. Here are a list of symptoms I had while taking Bupropion HCL SR 150mg: *dry mouth, *severe headache, *increased sweating, *joint aches, *blurred/tunnel vision, *dizziness, *chest pain, *fainting/black out, *irregular heartbeat, *hearing problems/ringing in the ears, *agitation, *confusion, *anxiety, *shaking, *weakness, *hallucinations, *swelling/numbness in face, tongue & lips, *high blood pressure. My doctor's first concern was stroke. The neurologist ruled that out because the symptom of numbness/tingling would start in my mouth and move to my hand/fingers over the course of an hou...

I started on a course of Bup. XL of 150 mg for the first week and then double that the second week. Mornings which had been so difficult for me were great, but when I switched to the 300, I had terrible insomnia, and trouble reading. So the doctor switched me to Bup. SR 200 mg, and I am back to exhausted again. I have plenty of the XL left and am considering switching back and maybe cutting the second pill in half. Any recommendations or experience? ## The first thing that needs to be cleared up for you is that the XL and SR mean the same thing, there is no difference in those. They are both just abbreviations that designate those ones are being time released. If you were doing so well on the 150mg dosage, why did he want you to keep going up? It would really make more sense to stay at ...

round pill pink 555 ## I was just switched from Bupropion SR 150 3x a day to Buprobion ER 200 2x a day. But the pharmacy label on the new bottle says Buproprion HCL ER 200 and below that generic for Bupropion HCL SR 200 but it's only twice a day. I thought only the brand (XL) was still the only 2x a day version. So now I'm totally confused about the difference between SR, ER, and XL. I'd been feeling worse, but the last 3x a day was for 150. So seems like now my dosage has been reduced? Does this make sense. (My doctor also has a pharmacy degree, and gets *very* annoyed at being questioned about my medicines.) I feel so dumb, but I just can't figure this out. Could someone here please straightened me out--unconfuse me? Thanks very much! ## Hello, Meg! How are you doing? ...

This is used to treat depression and nicotine addiction. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weight gain and dry mouth. I just got the same thing and am afraid to take them ## This has also happened to me - got Buprotic (??) 150mg m/r tablets. Has anyone had a problem when having to switch their medication to another manufacturer? For the past 4 months I have SUCCESSFULLY been taking Bupropion SR 150 Mg manufactured by Mylan, sold by CVS (it is a light green round pill).....Unfortunately, my insurance recently forced me to go through Medco mail order and I received dark purple round pills manufactured by SANDOZ. Since taking these purple pills I have become sick daily. I have been experienced nausea, not seeing clearly (double vision or something weird like that), vertigo, motionsickness, extreme temperature fluctuations, not being able to concentrate, etc, etc, etc..... So I immediately switched back to purchasing this medication from CVS (Mylan) and my nasty symptoms disipated quickly and I am back to "me" again! My...

Is there any bad drug interactions when taking Lisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide 20/12.5mg for high blood presure-once a day with Norco 10/325 twice a day for pain with Bupropion Hydrochloride Extended-release tab (SR) 150 mg twice a day for depression?
