I have a small round light blue pill. It has oo a line with y on one side. The other side is blank. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you. ## Hello, Sugarfoot! How are you? I'm sorry, but so far, I've been unable to find anything that matches this description, however, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? What is your general location? I think it might be an over the counter product, of some type, and some of those are regional, so this information could help to narrow down where to look. ## I have a round blue Xanax pill that's scored on one side and has 10 on the other. Doesn’t seem to work at all. Any advice?
its oval light green supposse to be generic oxycontin ## First, I would like to let you know that there is no generic for Oxycontin that is available in the U.S. All Oxycontin tablets are manufactured by Purdue Pharma and distributed by them or Ethex Pharmaceuticals. They all have an OP on one side and a number designating the dosage on the other. That said, I can't find any listing for an oval, green tablet with this marking, or anything similar, in the U.S. prescription drug databases. Do you know if it's from the U.S. or elsewhere?
Found these in my daughter's room. 12 of them ## These tablets contain 500mgs of Valaciclovir, a generic for Valtrex, which is an antiviral that's most commonly used to manage infections of the herpes virus. Learn more Valaciclovir details here. Have you asked her about them? ## No I wanted to find out what they were b4 I confronted her. Guess I really need to have a talk with her she's only 17 ## I use these for cold sores. best stuff for getting rid of them the fastest. ## Can this pill be taken with CIPROFLOXACIN HCL? ## he pill you’ve described, C324 500 is not a bad pill. Many people all ages us it, because it’s for cold sores.
I found this half blue pill oval looks like a can only it says is 8 6 ## @jtv, I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean about it "looking like a can"? If it's half an oval pill, how do you consider this to be so? A 12.00 mm light blue oval (220mg) Naproxen sodium tablet with "L368" on one side and blank on the other, sounds like a close prospect (whereas if it were cut in half you'd see '68' or '89'). The main problem with having half a pill is that the other markings are the only thing that can narrow it down to something specific. So finding an accurate match could be anyone's best guess…especially without a photograph to go off of… If it's very important to you though, something you may want to look into is having t...
I found a large blue oblong pill with no imprint and I cannot determine what it is. I’ve searched as far as I could online and have found no answers. What is this thing? And why did I find it outside? Is it illegal because there is no identification for it? Or is it just an herbal supplement that someone may have dropped on their way out? Idk. Please help. ## Hello Sophiatains, In the United States the FDA requires that all controlled medicines have an identifiable imprint/marking so this pill not having one really only lets us know that it isn't a controlled substance. This doesn't mean that it isn't medication but simply not a controlled one, so it could still be an over the counter medicine or pill. It could also be a number of other things such as a dietary pill, v...
I found this thick oval light blue pill with no markings on one side and on the flip side there are four lines stamped into the pill, making the lines seem raised on the pill. Can you help me? ## I had the same question until my teenager showed me it was a Wrigley's Excel Mint. ## Thank God. As a new mom to a teenager I was kind of freaking out!!! ## I’m glad it’s just a mint. I found one while cleaning out my car and I was like what the HECK is that??
I found this pill under my dresser. I’m told it’s a contraceptive, but my current birth control pills are not blue. I’ve never taken Tri-previfem before, which is what it’s identified as, but I have taken Ortho-tricyclen and TriNessa which are alternate brand names I’m told. Would the inscription be the same across the different brand names? ## Confirming that the pill you found corresponds with the markings found on Tri-Previfem (NDC 0603-7663). While it does contain a similar active ingredient profile as Ortho-Tricyclen (NDC 50458-191) and TriNessa (NDC 21695-407), the inscription should differ across brand names. The general rule is that each drug is required to have a unique imprint across manufacturers and doses. So even if it was the same manufacturer...
My friend asked me to find out about a pill that is from Mexico. It has the letters PISA on one side and it is a blue oval pill. What's it for? She was told it was for pain. ## I found a white pill with PISA one one side and nothing on the other side ## An oval pill with Pisa on one side is Mexico’s version of Xanax. ## Hi Luna, Is there any way to verify your claim for this being a Mexican version of Xanax? Does Mexico have National Drug Codes (NDC) similar to American FDA-approved pharmaceuticals? Do you happen to know who the manufacturer is for reference? To other readers who may be trying to identify this pill, it seems like it would be best to have its contents analyzed by a lab or drug panel for further verification. A drug panel can at least check for the presence of a...
Trying to ID a pill which is light blue with AA on one side and C on other. What is it? I can’t find the box. Are they safe? ## I have these too. I have been taking diazepam with "aa" on one side and "c" on the other. It's a small pale blue pill. It helps me relax but I have started worrying... They feel like diazepam. ## Just wanted to add that they don't help me sleep.
Hi. Please help me identify this pill i found in my boyfriend's pocket. It is a blue triangle with 100 written on one side. ## Blue, tear drop shaped pill with 100 written on one side and blank on the other. Can’t figure out what it is. Any ideas? ## Hello Dudu, The only pill I was able to find that resembles your pill is a Pfizer Viagra pill. This pill is imprinted with a 100 on a blue diamond pill. Below I will link you some information on this medication that I sourced from the National Institute of Health. NDC: 0069-4220 Ingredient(s): Sildenafil Citrates 100mg Imprint: 100;Pfizer Label Author: Pfizer Laboratories Color(s): Blue Shape: Diamond Size (mm): 14.00 Inactive Ingredient(s): - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Calcium Phosphate, Dibasic, Anhydrous - Croscarmellose Sod...
I found some suspicious pills in my boyfriend's bag. He is a recovering opioid addict, so this has me alarmed. He does take a ton of supplements & vitamins. These were hidden in a black jewelry bag in a backpack… No markings on these pills. Anyone know what they could be? ## If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being any type of prescription medication. As noted here the FDA requires them all to have unique imprints to help enable their identification in case of emergency. The imprint must enable them to be identified according to medication, dosage, and manufacturer. If there are no markings, it is most likely something that is available over the counter, such as a supplement, unless he has access to foreign medications. Is there anything else I can help with?
Is a purple football shaped tablet with IFA on one side and a thick score line on the other a 1 mg Xanax? Is that the drug manufacturer? Please help, I am only used to seeing alprazolam tablets come in blue or white. ## From what I have seen this pill is supposed to be a 1 mg Alprazolam (the purple/bluish sort of speckled oblong pill with IFA one one side and a score on the other). They are manufactured in Mexico by a company called INVESTIGACION FARMACEUTICA, S.A. DE C.V. and go under the brand name FARMAPRAM. Here is a Spanish Information Page which describes the medication and provides more details about the manufacturer. Hope this helps! ## Based on my research, a purple oval tablet marked IFA is reported to be 1mg Farmapram (Xanax) from Mexico. “Farmapram is a brand of Alpra...
I found half of a blue pill. It looks like it may have been scored, can't tell for sure. It has an imprint of either 86, 98, or 96? ## Valacyclovir - 500mg commonly used to treat herpes and other viruses. ## @Doc, From what I can tell, the 500mg Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablet I'm seeing is indeed oblong and blue, but the imprint on it is "F 82". So if it were broken in half there would just be the "82" showing and not any of the prospective numbers that were mentioned by Randi (86, 98, or 96). I guess it all depends on the condition of the pill and how Randi interpreted it in whatever state it was found, but as far as I know, 500mg Valacyclovir is still considered an educated guess and not necessarily the correct answer. Hopefully Randi will post back soon wit...
What is an oval blue pill with a Y on one side and 20 on the other side? What is this pill used for? ## Hi Pam, An oval blue pill marked with Y 20 is reportedly identified as Alprazolam 1mg; the generic for Xanax used for treating anxiety. NDC: 65862-678 Labeler: Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals Size: 9mm Inactive Ingredients: -Silicon Dioxide -Starch, Corn -Docusate Sodium -Sodium Benzoate -Lactose Monohydrate -Magnesium Stearate -Cellulose, Microcrystalline -Fd&c Blue No. 2 Hope this helps! ## I have a blue oval pill with 20 on one side v on other ## How can I get more? It’s very hard to get from my doctor. I have had anxiety and adhd all my life. It makes it difficult to live day to day. ## U have to go through a lot of testing because people use them recreationally & overdose...
A FRIEND IS TRYING TO TELL ME THAT A ROXICET PILL IS BLUE AND HAS THE NUMBER 824 ON IT? ## Hello, Chrissy! How are you? No, there is no Roxicet, Percocet or Oxycodone tablet with this marking. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As a matter of fact, I can't find any tablet with this marking. Is there anything else I can help with?
I found a 4-sided blue pill with 100 imprinted on one side and a triangle on the other side. I need to know what it is? ## I found the same exact one myself and I am not sure either. I think from what I’ve gathered so far is that it’s either generic or counterfeit viagra. A fake compound pharmacist made it or it’s a no name brand, bottom of the barrel off brand and most likely manufactured in Mexico or nearby. ## I'd also like to add from my own investigation (hopefully as some form of additional confirmation to post #1) that I too suspect this to be a foreign (made outside of the US), generic or counterfeit version of Viagra. There are other related discussion threads on this site that also lead me to this conclusion. Unfortunately depending on where or who you go...
