Started taking Belviq early in the year. After about a month I started having bouts of temporary blindness in my right eye that lasted 2-5 minutes. This happened about 4 times over the course of a month, always in my right eye. Like a shade was being pulled down in the back of my eye. This had never happened to me before, but it wasn't until the 3 occurrence that I put two and two together, and thought it might be the Belviq. At around 2 1/2 months, I stopped taking Belviq and the problems went away. My doctor was unavailable for an appointment concerning this so I pretty much forgot about it. Five months later when seeing him for a yearly checkup, I made him aware of what had happened. Long story a bit shorter, I mentioned to him my research of the blindness issue turned up a possi...

Someone please helpsince I started taking them I have felt like sometimes I can not see ## Hello, Mariah! How are you? I am not aware of it causing such a problem, but I'd suggest having this checked out by your doctor to be certain. Do you have any medical conditions? Do you take any other medications? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I was in double blind study,it worked for ra where can I get some to take ## Im sorry, but Therafectin was rejected by the FDA for approval. The general reason given was that the company had failed to prove its safety and efficacy from the testing it had already undergone and they wouldn't approve it without further testing. At this time, I really doubt it will ever be approved and make it to market, because the FDA has been reviewing the data and giving the same answer since 1994. What else have you tried to treat your RA? ## I was on embrel and now I am told my ra is in remission ,I was told I have gout in all my joints and I feel as sore ,all joints as I did with ra

20 months ago, June 13, 2011, my husband went blind after taking Flomax for 30 days. He is just now getting some of his libido back. He still has frequent urination issues. His CRP was very high on June 13th but it has been close to normal for several months. The specialists says that his optic nerve is dead and he will never see again. ## After just 30 days of use? Have they definitively attributed it to the Flomax? Anyone curious can read more Flomax details here. It's not that I don't believe you, I'd just like more precise details if you have them. There have been a lot of posts recently about vision problems arising from taking this medication and I'd like to know more to better advise future users. ## FYI.....this is odd. My husband had complications with cataract ...

am 21yrs old n at uni my sight is weak n feel i am going blind even when i have it corrected after few weeks it goes week again i have ended up being depressed over it now i dont know if its in my head or my sight ## What has your doctor said is causing the problem? Are you taking any drugs/medications regularly? There are quite a few things that can cause these types of problems, some are reversible and some aren't. However, only an eye doctor will really be able to give you a definitive answer.

I took Tamsulosin for 30 days and 80 days later I went blind. Diagnosis "temporal arteritis". I had many of the listed side affects of the drug. Are there other people who are blind after taking this drug? ## Hi Carl, Blurred vision is actually noted to be a side effect of Tamsulosin. The scary part is that blurred vision is also listed as an overdose side effect in addition to being a common side effect, so it may be difficult to tell how severe the side effect might be. Either way, due to the seriousness of going blind, this is something that should be called in to your doctor right a way if you experience it even for a brief moment. Additional information about this drug can be viewed in the links below: I hope this helps!

NB 890 round blue pill. This is in a clinical trial process and only dispursed in a current blind study. ## May I ask how you came to know that this pill even exists? Only wondering because I haven't found any specific details whatsoever on the web. If the pill really still is under clinical trials then the manufacturer probably wont release any information till it's been made clear that the pill is going on the market. Obviously if it doesn't pass trials, there would be little reason for them to announce what it is to the general public. Has anyone else heard of these tablets? ## A person i was at the bus stop was with was telling me about a clinical trial they did for a pill they call NB-890....I was curious of what are the drugs for and what are its side effects

My daughter is disabled, non verbal and has severe self hitting behavior issues. She is blind due to retina detachment. She got multiple surgeries for retina reattachment. She still has silicon oil in her eyes to hold the retina in place. From the last two years she has been complaining about some kind of pain but not sure where the pain could be. She tries to punch her head and ears a lot. She is getting treatment by doctors for pain relief but it is not helping. Right now she is getting gabapentin 900mg three times daily along with Cymbalta, Lorazepam and Trileptal. Only her sleeping issue is a little better but she is still continuously uncomfortable with pain. Doctors think it could be behavior temper tantrum attacks. Is there any other doctor who can advise us on how to improve the...

Can anyone tell me about Methadone please? ## Found this quote in another newsgroup: ------------ In blind trials, users who were given both drugs orally were unable to distinguish between the effects heroin and methadone. Withdrawal from heroin should be over after seven to ten days. Withdrawal from methadone though, can take up to a month or even longer. Many former heroin users have claimed that the horrors of heroin withdrawal were far less painful and difficult than withdrawal from methadone. Methadone is a synthetic drug. It was first invented in Germany during the Second World War by scientists who, having discovered pethidine some years earlier, were developing other similar compounds. The effects of methadone last longer than those of morphine-based drugs. Methadone's effec...
