I was prescribed sulfamethoxazole-tmp ds a week ago for urinary infection and ear pain. Was taken by severe headache behind my eyes. I've had constant nagging headache all week that won't go away. I don't know if it's from the antibiotics or the new Belviq I was also put on. Can I take Sudafed with these and excedrin to be able to function today? ## Hello, Laura! How are you? Yes, this antibiotic can cause headaches as a side effect, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. You should avoid taking the Excedrin, though, because the antibiotic may cause you to absorb too much of the Aspirin that's in it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Feeling better now that I restarted my citalopram as well. I ...

Codeine + Pseudoephedrine + Triprolidine Drug Index

Codeine is an opiate and prodrug of morphine used to treat pain, coughing, and diarrhea. It is found naturally in the sap of the opium poppy, Papaver somniferum.[3][5] It is typically used to treat mild to moderate degrees of pain.[3] Greater benefit may occur when combined with paracetamol (acetaminophen) or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin or ibuprofen.[3] Evidence does not support its use for acute...

I'm on metoprolol and digitek. I had a cold so I took ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine. Would this cause thinning of blood? My nose is bleeding and eyes appear very bloodshot. ## Ibuprofen is an NSAID and while it may cause bleeding and change the way your blood forms platelets it does not thin your blood. This is pretty much a characteristic of most NSAIDs. Aspirin is the most common NSAID known to actually think the blood. ## Ibuprofen has been known to cause hemorrhage, so yes, it can cause blood thinning, and other issues, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. How severe is the nosebleed? Are there the only medications you take? How much Ibuprofen did you take? Can you please post back with more specific detail...

What is the purpose of the Nizer D tablet? Can it be taken by someone with asthma? Does it contain aspirin, sulfur or ibuprofen? ## Nizer D contains 100mgs of Nimesulide and 120mgs of Pseudoephedrine. This combines a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory with a decongestant. I see no warnings listed regarding the use of them in Asthma patients, however, this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor to be certain. ## Will it cause any harm if it is taken after it expires?

Orange, oval shaped with inscription L143 ## Found this pill please let me know what it is its orange oval and has L 143 written on it ## I had the same situation, what does this pill? ## It's likely Ibuprofen with pseudoephedrine, a generic version of Advil Cold & Sinus. Someone should confirm this though, I'm only 99% certain. ## My mom had these in an aspirin bottle and gave me a round, light pink, L143... what is it? She said she wasn't sure.

What's the name and what's it used for? ## Hi Chetniks, Just out of curiosity, what shape is this pill you're describing? So far, the closest match I've seen is a round white pill imprinted with L434 on one side and scored on the back. [Pseudoephedrine 60mg + Triprolidine 2.5mg]. I've also seen an oblong white pill imprinted with L484 - albeit the 8 could probably be mistaken for a 3 depending on the condition of the pill. [Acetaminophen 500mg] Lastly, I've also come across an oblong white pill imprinted with 44 334. [Acetaminophen 250 mg + Aspirin 250 mg + Caffeine 65 mg] Do any of these sound like a remote possibility? ## White oblong pill with 4434 on one side and blank on the other. What is this? ## oval white pill with 4434 number on one side clear on other ...

Believe it may be 20mg prednisolone for a dog ## Hi Patrick, Are there any other imprints on your pill that may have been faded or are difficult to make out? I only ask because based on the description provided, the closest match I could find was a white oval shaped pill marked with "GF P120" and a score line. This particular tablet is an OTC cold remedy containing 600mgs of Guaifenesin + 120mgs of Pseudoephedrine. Another similar match that comes up is a round white pill marked with "P120" and nothing else. Although this one is a 325mg Aspirin tablet. Just out of curiosity, what information leads you to believe that it may contain 20mgs of prednisolone? I'm not seeing any specific details online relating to that, and also wonder if it might be something that's n...

I tested positive for meth in a urine drug test; however i have been clean for 3+ years. I'm currently taking prescription medications: omeprazole, hydrocodone/acetaminophen, escitalopram, tramadol, temazepam, lorazepam, sinvastatin,. OTC: aspirin, claritin and afrin. Can any of these medications be the cause of the positive drug test? ## Yes, some of the drugs you are on, and in combination may cause a false reaction on a cup or card test, and even on EIA. That is why it is very important to have every non-negative, or Positive test CONFIRMED by LC/MS/MS or GC/MS. That is the only way to know for sure. ## I believe that one of your medications for the seasonal allergies has pseudoephedrine in it or something very similar that is used as a nasal decongestant. This will cause false p...
