I get sick since taking aspavor 10 mg. I am dizzy. Problems to breath short of breath,stiffening of skin around my eyes, weak muscles ,flue like symptoms.Feeling week and tired. ## This medication contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is most commonly used to treat high cholesterol. i am 65 yrs old ,have been advised to take ecotrin during last 3 to 4 years .Recently experiencing back pain and kidney blood results showed elevated creatatine and urea levels and also experiencing breathlesness during my routine weekly tennis doubles games.My cardiologist changed script to aspavor 10mg .After reading the Literature I found, in the aspavor box and on Internet Ihave gone back to Ecotrin 81 mg on a 1 tablet every 2 days.Probably I may undergo a cholesterol blood check after a month. ## Hello, Sagren! Have been taking bilocor for 3/4 years, have developed a scalp condition - pityriasis amantacea which my dermatologist can be a rare side effect of bilocor. Very distressing as it causes scales on the scalp that come away with hair so can cause patches of baldness. Can this be from the bilocor? ## I have a pacemaker and use Bilocor 5 on a regular basis. I wake up with terrible muscle pain and run a fever and get cold shivers at night. The same simptoms I had when I got tick bite fever. I have just realised that it may be this medication. I also now get constipated. It is not a pleasant experience at all. I took Lipitor previously about 7 or 8 years ago and my liver was affected, so much so that I ended up in hospital with a complete blackout, did not even now the ambulance took me to hospital. Is it true that Aspavor causes Tendonitis in a small percentage of users ## I started taking Aspavor a couple of weeks ago as despite cutting animal fats out of my (pretty healthy) diet my cholesterol was very high. The side-effects are impacting my quality of life severely - I have gone from being fit and active to semi-crippled by terrible pains in my legs and hips (and cramping at night) plus lower back pain and tender undersides of my feet, especially when I walk. It feels as if I am walking on large stones and I shuffle along now like an old lady whereas before I was a gym bunny. I was diagnosed with high Cholesterol and put on Aspavor. I believe that it is causing side effects such as high uric acid, fatigue and joint pains. I decided to stop taking the medication and try nutrition and healthy food in stead however I was told this could be dangerous and stopping Aspavor may cause heart attack. Good day, I have been on Zuvamor 40mg for almost a year now, wasn't feeling well so they changed it to Storwin 40mg. Stil not feeling better.
